Today i called axis customer care to upgrade my existing Flipkart credit to get a new one.
I was informed it has been stopped. Now you can't upgrade your card to get another card by calling cc executives.
Any workaround?
Good intiative by Axis. Crap CC crap justifications.

I think the real reason is they are saving and stocking plastic stationery for the "expected" incoming rush of citi customers to axis.
Now, did they say the way to apply for additional cards now?

They are saying, RBI has imposed ban for CC Upgrade 😄
tried applying airtel card on 5th aug via customer care but they said upgrade is put on hold indefinitely(tried 3 cc agents just to be sure😬) ,they said u have to apply via branch or airtel site,branch people earlier said they cant apply for airtel card for anyone and airtel isnt interested in giving me this card😞
my cousin applied this card via cc on 2nd aug which got approved and about to be delivered
edit-i cancelled my ltf myzone card(oldest cc held by me) to get airtel one
RBI new guidelines is the reason..

I think for Card Upgrades , a form /written approval may be asked by Banks now ..... ( possibily with fresh KYC)

Already got the 3 cards so I am good. Wanted to upgrade to Airtel Axis but can't close any existing card.
