There is a thing called loan against mututal funds right
You can take loan against your mutual founds as collateral
Not sure but i think u get upto 80% of money of mf value
So
1) person a has 10 lac and invest 10 lac
Using that as collateral he gets a loan of 8 lac
And again invest that in his or someones name
2) 8 lac invest again can be used as collateral to get a loan of 6.5 lac
And so on
If you default obviously bank or lender will generally hve nothing to loose but if you keep paying emis properly you can earn a lot if mf return> interest rate
am i wrong somewhere here
Or this can be done .
- you need to have the appetite of paying the emis and i think you cannot dilute any of mfs little also so as to pay emi
So maybe thats why this model is not sustainable
But any thoughts

Case cracked: never ever each year/month MF has positive returns, if you see past history... and emi-s will not be forgotten if you have losses... (just like the credit card interest cycle due to non payment, would fall like dominoes)
Result: house taken over, car towed out, biwi going out with rich buddha, your undies smelly as the washing machine was even sold out!

Loan against shares and Loan against MF has only 50% ratio i..e for 100 RS stocks pledge you will get only 50rs of loan
I have made shit tone in LAS my portfolio XAR for last 5 year is 200%
