HDFC Bank SavingsMax is only good if you've CC bills to pay which are listed on HDFC Bank Bill Pay portal. Also, in my opinion, if one wants to have savings account with HDFC Bank and they don't have salary account with them, SavingsMax is go-to account variant, eyes closed.
You can explore benefits of AU Small Finance Bank though, I've heard they offer good benefits.

dont go for axis liberty (dont know what charges axis will keep on changing and levying, they revise charges too much abruptly),
Side note: Axis basic/salary account of Rs.10,000 already started weird charges like eNAcH autodebit Rs.25 per transaction, and if cash withdrawal is Rs.25000 a month they charge cash withdrawal fee like Rs.150 grrr axis back is a cash sucker lol
also axis edge reward points are not at all useful most of the time not worth it
also as @sahil1033 mentioned the cashback of 10% is capped at 500 only per month and that too with lots of Terms and conditions
HDFC savings account is by far the best with good debit card
so chose HDFC savings account with both eyes closed xD

how and why would you say this without giving away all the details?
5% cashback on debit card is only on weekends (food, entertainment, shopping and travel) that too with capping of upto Rs. 500 / month and additional 5% will be via Grab Deals which is credited in another 90 days if I'm not wrong
it's a good feature, I agree, but it doesn't always give 10% cashback on Amazon and Flipkart ... weekends is only 2 out of 7 days ... plus, instant discount >>>>>>> cashback
