Hi,

I want to be able to access my family members SMS.

Earlier, I used to use https://messages.google.c...eb to access messages.

But now it stopped showing messages.

Also, I don't want to use phone link by windows as in that case I will have to login into their device using my Microsoft account.

Is there any free app, that let us sync messages without much hassle with just 1 step authentication like google messages?

Also, I don't want to change the default messaging app on family members phone.

The *. is a regex which means "any character 0 or more times", which basically means forward messages from any number to a specific number.

The app is open source, ask ur developer friend to snoop thru their code to see if something is fishy.

I am a dev, i use it on my moms phone, i handle her finances remotely

@dexter_greycells , @ZIZER I hope Pushbullet is trusted. As I don't don't want someone else (Scammer/hacker/ developer of pushbullet) to enter the OTP before I could on the merchant sites.

Oh, it is. It has been around for at least a decade and they have a pro subscription too to make money by enabling larger file transfers. They have been featured on How To Geek, Lifehacker and many other tech blogs. I have been using them for a decade myself and haven't had security issues.

Most dimers have this need because they have various CCs in the names of their near and dear ones and need OTPs.

I tried Messages too and it never allowed OTP synching from the beginning itself. So, it was of no use to me. I use Pushbullet for the time being. I have just set up a Tasker routine to auto-forward OTPs to another number. Have yet to test it though. I paid for Tasker many years ago but never used it 😋
