BOB Select Visa vs BOB Snapdeal RuPay Credit Card -
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1) BOB Select Visa Credit card - (1.25% Rewards point) 5X i.e. 5 Reward Points for every Rs. 100 spent on Dining, Utility bills, Online spends.

Please note that 5X Rewards are capped at 1,000 Reward Points on the mentioned categories per month. Further spends in that month on these categories will earn Reward Points at the regular earn rate.

Regular earn rate - (0.25% Reward Point) 1 Reward Point for every Rs. 100 spent on other categories

1 Reward Point = 0.25 Paise.

Note -  @Ransome said, "Unfortunately, not all online transactions give 5x reward points for Select card. MCC issue prevails."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2) BOB Snapdeal RuPay Credit Card - 5% Unlimited Cashback (20 Reward Points per Rs 100 spend) for your purchases on Snapdeal website & app only.

(2.5% Cashback) 10 Reward Points for every Rs 100 spent on Online Shopping, Grocery & Departmental Stores and

(1% Cashback) 4 Reward Points for every 100 spent on other categories.

Reward Points of 10 RP per ₹100 is capped at maximum 2000 Reward Points per statement. Reward Points earned will be auto-credited as a cashback to the next month’s statement.

Also Snapdeal vouchers worth up to Rs500 on card usage within 30 days of issuance.

1 Reward Point = 0.25 Paise.

Note - Ab yaha pe 10 Reward Point sirf Online shopping pe milega but i guess Amazon gift voucher buy pe bhi Online Shopping he shayad count ho and you can recharge/billpay and use other merchant via Amazon gift voucher (100% confirm nahi hai abhi).

They took more than a quarter in my case to issue BoB RuPay Premier.

And, for the first time in my life, someone has done so thorough investigation of residence and personal details. The person who came for physical verification, literally took photos of me, my house and asked information in depth which I really didn't even want to answer. For a credit card with credit limit of mere Rs. 75,000 ... they did CBI level investigation and I felt like breach of privacy. 😬

I applied and completed KYC on the 3rd, it got approved today.

Is there any way to view the card details online like SBI?

I applied on the website, uploaded the documents, and completed the KYC.

The next day one guy came to my house and one guy went to my office to verify, after that today I got a message saying it was approved.

I am not a BOB customer, I just applied for the card since the LTF offer was going on.

I would suggest to give cc statement.... And ur bank statement in which u have done good transactions.... For better limit.... People with salary slip and itr have got pathetic limits..

And no relationship required... U can take premier... But u wont be getting any 10x rewards on travel and dining as it only supports 1 or 2 mcc.... It will just sit in drawer for lounge access...

Both gives 5x only on certain categories.... But select gives 5x on all online transactions ..no mcc lafda here... upto 1000 points per month.... Normal rewards rate for select is 1 point per 100..so 5x points which is 1.25%...here even wallet load and rent payment counts..

Premier gives 5x on travel, dining and international spends... Which no one is getting

Its normal rewards rate is 2 points per 100....so for other transactions u only get 0.5%....

@batmanBABA Hi, could you also help me to find out the value I will get on international payments. I see this(below) however Premier not mention anything about online payments. It seems like i applied for wrong card as i mainly do international transactions like paying in USD, EUR. Thanks.

Premier: 5X i.e. 10 Reward Points for every Rs. 100 spent on Travel, Dining and Abroad (International spends)

2 Reward Points for every Rs. 100 spent on other categories

Select: 5X i.e. 5 Reward Points for every Rs. 100 spent on Dining, Utility bills, Online spends

1 Reward Point for every Rs. 100 spent on other categories
