BSNL launches Diwali Offer with Cheapest Yearly Mobile Prepaid Plan
BSNL orΒ Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is once again back with some new recharge offers of 2022. The telecom companyΒ has launched 2 new BSNL Diwali Recharge Offers of 2022 both of which are one of the cheapest plans you can get currently. Sharing the full details of the BSNL Diwali Recharge Offers below and the benefits you get with them.
.
The two BSNL Diwali recharge offers that the telecom brand has recently launched are Rs.1198 and Rs.439. The BSNL Rs.1198 recharge offerΒ is a yearly mobile prepaid plan that in terms of price beats Jio, Airtel and Vi as well. Currently, it is most probably the cheapest yearly mobile prepaid plan you can get. But, when the price drops, there's usually a little more to know, isn't it? Well, it is the case with this new BSNL Diwali Recharge offer plan. See below how and what exactly the new BSNL recharge offers are.
.
BSNLβs Rs 1198 plan offers 3GB of data, 300 minutes of calling, and 30 SMS per month. As mentioned above, the BSNL Rs.1198Β plan has a validity period of 365 days or 12 months. In terms of price, it beats the cheapest Airtel prepaid plan of Rs.1799. However, you also need to know that with this new BSNL Rs.1198 Diwali offer plan, you do not get unlimited voice calling and SMS features as you would with other Telecoms' tarrif plans.Β
.
Unlike the previous BSNL Rs.1198 plan, this Rs.439 Diwali plan of BSNL is more suited for those who do not have a high data consumption requirement but want an unlimited voice calling facility. This Rs.439 BSNL plan as part of the Diwali offer comes with 90 days validity, 300 SMS limit, and unlimited voice calling benefits. Noticed there's no mention of the data you get with this BSNL Rs.439 plan. Well, because there's none. Yes, currently you do not get any data benefits on BSNL Rs.439 plan which is quite disappointing.Β
Previously, BSNL had also launched a Rs.2099 prepaid plan with "unlimited" free data and voice calling for 300 days validity.Β

Not sure if the following works in EVERY circle (like East Zone: Andaman, Skkim, Tripura, Nagaland and so on).
β ββββββ ββ
β ββββββΒ
But for example,
βββ ββββββΒ
Suppose if the number's outgoing validity ended on December 31, at 23:59:59 hours
βββ ββββββΒ
then from January 01 till January 07.. the number will be in (what BSNL refers to as) "Grace Period 1" (GP1).
βββ ββββββΒ
BSNL claims that after GP1, the incoming calls, incoming message features might get barred too.
βββ ββββββ ββ
β ββββββ ββ
β ββββββΒ β
But as of right now, BSNL https://portal2.bsnl.in/myportal/tariffs.do?PREPAID has a STV (Special Tariff Voucher) of βΉ49 which extends the outgoing by 20 days.
And GP1 of 7 days, as usual gives incoming.
ββ ββββββ ββ
β ββββββ ββ
β ββββββΒ
Thus, just before GP2 (Grace Period 2) starts... if one does the βΉ49 "recharge" (BSNL has: recharge mode and top-up mode).
β ββββββ ββ
β ββββββ ββ
ββif one does the βΉ49 "recharge" during GP1 (within seven days of the expiry of the previous PV/STV).. effectively one gets 27 or 28 days incoming.
β ββββββ ββ
β ββββββ ββ
β ββββββΒ
In the above hyperlink or BSNL's recharge portal/ self-care application: look for the 'Voice vouchers' tab.
(These plans have freebie outgoing minutes).
βββ ββββββ ββ
β ββββββ ββ
β ββββββ ββ
βΒ ββββββ
Officially BSNL does not have 'queuing' of plans.
One caanot expect to stack up, by doing the same recharge multiple times.
βββ ββββββ ββ
β ββββββHowever, there have been reported cases where people/system did the same recharge twice.. in the soan of few minutes/hours.
And BSNL allowed the second recharge (of the same plan) to not be activated/wasted.
Instead BSNL let the customer have the benefit extended/started ... AFTER the first recharge/validity got over.
βββ ββββββ ββ
β ββββββ ββ
It is practically queuing, but noting is officially allowed.

Why BSNL not coming up with a yearly plan for validity extension? This way they can definitely gain more subs in short span of time.

What's the current min monthly recharge in bsnl?
Validity : 30 Calendar Day(s)200 Minutes voice Calls(LOCAL/NATIONAL) + 2GB Data for 30 days.
It's the cheapest one but not the best for obvious reasons. So, would recommend going with top-up only as suggested by the other dimer.Β

I normally use 107plan for 50days validity or, sometimes 197 for 100days validity
Where to recharge this plan? Not showing on mobikwik and AmazonΒ
Is there some validity till when this plan would be available ?
My current plan expires in january, might consider after thatΒ
Also, anyone knows the method to transfer balance from one bsnl number to other ?

Here's the 1198 BSNL plan also available on the BSNL Website -Β https://portal2.bsnl.in/myportal/tariffs.do?PRE...
If the link does not work..just go to Mobile prepaid plans >> Select your circle >> Plan VouchersΒ

I usually recharge 139 plan..... After recharge ends... I wait for 7 days... Then sim goes in gp2.. 139 plan is only for gp2 users... It gives benefits equal to 187 plan of bsnl...ul calls, 100sms/day and 2gb /day internet..... I use mostly amazon pay to recharge which mostly gives me 15-25 cb per month..... So i get it in range of 114-124 rs per mknth...Β
