Depending upon how you redeem.it varies between 0.25 paise to 1 ₹ per point

0.4 is realistic value...

Flipkart redemption is at 0.3 and Taj is 0.5...

Amex cards are useless now even 4x1500 for MRCC is pretty difficult as paytm/mobikwik loading does not work many times

take only if u have spends coming up later, discount offers on Amazon or FK dried up

No it won't close. You will have both card active. I talked to them today regarding the same. They also told me that mmrc fee can be waved off if you hold platinum travel card under supplementary card offer on case by case basis.

AS nobody answer it , so i done the maths and found that MRCC is the best card of amex , and amex will give u one rank lower card as companion
so amex MRCC+smartearn is the better combo as compared with any other card together they will give 7% reward return for spend of 11000/month
And also I think gold charge card is better then then platinum travel if you can't achieve milestone. 1000bonus reward points per month. You can pool reward points together from mmrc and gold charge to gold collection and 5x reward multiplier benefits.
