Buy low from Amazon/Flipkart/Snapdeal and Sell it of on OLX/Quickr ?

It works out well only for in demand items. For example something such as RN4 right now. I have done it many times but not as a reseller to be specific.

I am fascinated to try out any good phone that launches so I try my best to get hold of it in the first sale, use it for 2 or 3 days and sell it at cost. I was always able to sell it off even after using it because the device is in high demand at that time. If you want to sell it at cost the only way you can make profit is if there is some website offering cash back or there are some launch offers you can make use of.

I specifically used to get devices to sell them at high prices back during iPhone 2g/3g/3gs/4/4s days and few Android phones. I sold each phone with several thousands of profit by getting them from US. The latest I have done was with OnePlus 2 where I sold 5 phones with a profit of around 10k per device at an average in the very initial days.

But things are not that rosy right now with device availability being lot better so do watch out before betting on such things. Give it a try in a small way to begin with.

i have a lenovo k6 power purchased at 10k 1 month back. i dont like it and want to sell it..what price shud i put it at on olx/quikr? should ii try any other selling sites?

I currently see Redmi note 4 ads for 14k and 14.5k around me. So thats 1k or 1.5 Clean profit. People will buy only if you have such product unused.

The products i am targeting in this post are like Shoes, Laptops Etc.

How many times we see get 70% Discount on shoes one day and the other day its down to 30%.

We buy a pair of puma shoes for just 700 rs and sell it of unused and unopened for 1.5k or more.

50% off on Puma shoes will sell off fast in my opinion especially when people get it quickly and the size that fits them….

If you want to scale it up, Bikes and cars are not bad options at all. I often see multiple ads of various used Bikes & Cars from the same person. I guess these are the people who own garages or work at one with lot of local contacts.

You are Right, This business model was more for my cousin though.

May be few weeks of observation on products on OLX might help in getting a better idea.

I know about OLX and Quickr back when they first started advertising on TV. But, i really looked into OLX Since just 3-4 days because i was looking to buy a good second hand bike. Couple of ads i was having my eye on are already sold so, people are buying and selling stuffs around me.

It wont even take a week to learn all this things,there are courses on youtube and udemy which explain whole process.selling on olx is good but for the long run its not,if its just side business you can go for olx for some profit.

Absolutely, there is a drawback of selling on OLX only. Nice for a startup anyway.

Oh i see !!! Well Amazon have already cam up as a competiton for OLX & Quickr in bangaluru. Hope they expand their Junglee service in other metro cities too.

the current in demand product is RN4 64GB reselling from 500 – 1500 profit per piece. many people also bought droom helmets + prestige air fryer and selling them on quikr / olx. there is no harm in selling for a little bit of extra income… problem is with people who offer some ridiculous rates even for already low priced products. they dont even read full details + price + new / used / unused… just for time on olx they chat take name numbers addresses and vanish…

very few genuine buyers nowdays + needs lot of patience to handle all sort of people and get the right price

Boy, he is gonna make some profit if he manages to sell it even for 2.5k.

I thought of purchasing iPhone 7 128GB model MRP 70 000. Was getting it at 56K .
Went to Jagdish market in Hyderabad, they said they will purchase for 65K…
But my dad didn’t allow me for this

there are many advts like these on olx quikr… like i said the people who give offers are the worst they will offer 800 – 1200 or max 1500 for a price quotation of 3000 but its just a matter of time and patience if we get the right price for the product

Jagdish market is probably to worst place for buying/selling used phones, you get the worst possible deals.

But yeah, it’s a bit risky to purchase on OLX too most times as there is no way of verifying certain things such as minor liquid or other internal damages to phones internally. In Jagdish market you at least get some sort of support in stores such as Faizul for paying that premium.

I sold my RN3 in Jagdish market at 7.5k 16GB model . Speaker was also not working…

kuch idea bhi hai bhai tujhe ki aliexpress se aane main kitna time lgta hai,standard shipping pe 15-30 din aur cina post ordinary vaali pe 45-60 din aur gum hone ke chances bahut hote hain aur fir custom taxes bhi.

bhai mera phone 25 din ho gae abhi tak nhi aaya,delhi phuncha hai ab jaa ke,aur kai products ko toh 45 din hone koaae.

This totally depends upon your smartness, skill and tricks. I sell almost 50mobiles on olx every months.

In one line, Keep your ad on firs page or post features ad. Analyse price from your competitor and keep yours accordingly. Finally utilise your brain little for perfect execution. Thats it. Njoy!!!

i once gt sme xbox game for 1 rs in amazon sale and sold it off fr 2k….
sold my 6 months used cycle for 5500 (bought fr 3800)….
sold 4 months used hard disk fr 2900 ( bought fr 2500) ….

sellng on olx is nt a easy task…atleast fr me… sme ridiculous offers evn fr new items… i didnt evn bother to reply fr to few ppl in my last sale…
