Calculation of Neu Coins for Tata Neu HDFC Bank Credit Cards

I was under the assumption that Neu coins are calculated on a per transaction basis but I was wrong.
Cumulative of all the spends done on the card via UPI is taken into account and 1.5% of it is rounded off to calculate Neu coins. So, it's not necessary to do minimum transaction of Rs. 34 (on Infinity) and Rs. 50 (on Plus) to avail Neu coins, any amount of transaction will contribute to reward points earned (as Neu coins).
Posting this to clarify in case anyone is under the same impression I was until now.

Same with me as well. Did you got your additional neu coins? I have got only 1% on transaction on Croma.

This seems to be a new change. I too noticed that in this statement. Earlier it used to be on per transaction as you said.
one more thing, transactions done on last day of the statement cycle will show up in current statement but reward points will be credited in the next statement if the transaction settled on next day
had a month long conversation with HDFC Bank on this and ultimately I had to figure out myself what happened exactly
The good thing is that, any amount of transaction should contribute to earning reward points and that's fair as well.
Most of the credit cards round off to floor i.e. even 2.99 and 2.01, both will be rounded off as 2 only ... at least Tata Neu HDFC Bank CCs round off in a normal manner

Overall it is very confusing with Tata Neu and their calculations
I spent 3950 rupees on my first bill cycle. But in the statement, mentioned only 1 neu coin. Then I discussion with HDFC credit card team, they told to wait for 7 days from bill generation. So how much coin I will get. Guys anybody knows this or else I need to wait?
