Can we change the FD interest payment option?

I had opened FD in PNB and selected "maturity" as FD Interest payment option. Now, can I change that, interest payment option to "monthly" by visiting branch or somehow.

Banks don't allow change in interest payment schedule.

You can change it at branch or online but it would mean breaking the FD and making it again. This would mean loss of some interest.
