can we change UPI ID in gpay?

Initially registered GPAY using Paytm payment bank as XXXXXXXXXX@oksbi/okaxis/etc and BOB as XXXXXXXX-1@oksbi/okaxis/etc.
Now the problem is if I register icici bank in gpay, it is getting upi ID as XXXXXXXX-2@oksbi/okaxis like this. Is there any way I can reset all UPI IDs associated with banks.

I hate Gpay for this. Would prefer a custom ID which it doesn't allow
Old IDs with be available after a year
