Can we keep Jio SIM active without Packs recharge?

Hi, I have a secondary Jio SIM which is only used for OTPs. I usually recharged it with monthly plans to keep it active. One of my friends suggested that we can keep it active by top up recharge of Rs 10 every month to keep receiving OTPs without risk of number getting discontinued/deactivated due to non validity.
Please let me know if anything of this sort works.

Do u get any calls from jio cc about recharging the number
I got call from cc in July to recharge. I didnt recharge and they deactivated my no. 90 days is grace period so I visited Jio store to re-activate it last monday. They checked but didnt find the number. Told me buy new sim.
What? Only 15 days grace period is given if the no. is "suspended" after 90 days. If still no recharge is done then the connection can be terminated.
P.S. Did the number have any talktime balance or not?
I used to get calls. I always said abhi itna paisa nahi hai. Then it stopped calling me. however No is still active for incoming.
If u receive a call/message then number extend 90 days . If u dont receive for 90 days it get disconnected. Using this method since 3 yrs
Every one should recharge with 155 once in a year minimum.

I haven't recharged for 2 years. Working smoothly
Better recharge atleast quarterly or at the most in six months . Numbers get terminated . Only maybe some lucky ones are randomly left out .
That Rs 10 recharge top up is useless and not considered
I Havent recharged any for 1 year. Its still active for incoming calls & msgs
