For eg my sbi card with 20k limit allows more than a lac if you want to use it for card offer (I bought laptop using it)

It works with ICICI too. Please let me know if you have experience using a card more than it's limit by adding money into it

I think you have to change the settings of max txn limit.

Like for hdfc if you to to card control under mycard 

U can set the max limit

No idea about icici amazon cc

CC don't have option to set max txn limit more than card limit. SBI does not allow all users to spend more than their card limit in a billing cycle month.
