Even i never order any product with Cash on delivery , but unfortunately when the Delivery person came my wife opened the door and she paid the money as i was in meeting and later when we opened the package we got surprised. there was no bill in the package i happened to figured out its a meesho delivery by checking with delhivery and later calling there customer care.
pretty much i have spend efforts of rs 1000 to get 444 back. now i have given up and not going to run behind them again.

Yes same.

Almost happened with me. Luckily, It was me who opened the door, & only I place order at my house, be it milk or mobile. Delivery boy said order is from Meesho. I remembered that I have done no COD transactions. I still checked app if I ordered something, nothing. I said I haven't ordered anything it's a mistake & rejected. Safe!

age old scam , apps like mesho / amazon / flikart not responsible .... scam done by fraudsters not ethical sellers .

Very common scam on Meesho. Happened with me too recently - saw the sender address and rejected.

I got a trick from an insta reel to see how are they getting your data.

In your shipping addresses, give your name as 

Akhil Amazon on Amazon

Akhil Flipkart on Flipkart

Akhil Tatacliq on Tata cliq

So when you get a courier like that or a random call selling something, or random email with such a name you know where it is getting leaked from

Meesho is a place of fraudsters and scammers. I installed the app recently and ordered few items as I saw cheap prices there compared to Amz/Fk. To my surprise each and every product delivered was fake or 2nd hand copy. While ordering I had chosen M trusted and 4* still got fake products. Even though I was able to return all those but my experience is not good at all and subsequently uninstalled it not to use ever again.

P.S : my wife still uses that 3rd grade app🤪

How did you trust this meesho ? If you are creating new account and order from someone else account and if return happens he will receive the refund not you. 

COD is a big scam in meesho many time warned in desidime 

Thanks for the support dimers, i have not given up on meesho yet. I have created a Complaint on consumerhelpline website and Following up there from now on.  😃

bro if u never ordered anything on COD , dont take it , ANY COST

and this thing i have also told to my parents that when i will order anything it will only be prepaid , if its COD , then do not take it .

the only exception to this rule is jiomart where i still order COD

And almost all time got full order

While taking order i count in front of delivery boy , if something is missing (very rare) they note it and refund from their side after reaching station back. 

One or times i got extra items also. In my case jiomart was better.. but now using BB bcoz of neocoins

Yeah Agree Meesho products are of cheap quality...  but here the culprit is not  Meesho... OP shouldn't have paid for the order. I received an COD order from flipkart and when my parents called I asked them not to pay as i never place cod orders..  The flipkart delivery boy threatened that they will never deliver in this address again.. and later they marked it as delivered...  Later i reliased that during the sale i had prebooked something which they shipped even without payment... But the same product was available cheaper when sale started... 😄

Yeah. Flipkart - Even i returned the product for which price reduced. Price during sale was higher too. 

Overall saved about 1k with returns.

Account is still active. 

its been 152 Days since the Scam happened with me, Still the Refund has not recieved.

It’s getting leaked from the delivery warehouse. Also through third party delivery services. 

Today it happened to me also,today delivery person try to deliver parcel to me which was not ordered by me ,I asked him ,he told meesho order ,I refused to pay and got cancelled with otp....I really worried about this how my data will know that sellers thanks letting us to know🙌
