Before downloading Cashify and trying to sell on Cashify my exchange value of S20FE 5G was coming as ~14.5k on Samsung site, after trying to sell on cashify(shows 10.5k) now its coming as same ~10.5k on Samsung site.
It seems Cashify will sync data to Samsung?
FYI for dimers

Yes heard same. But in my case even the exchange value on Samsung website changed for both smart exchange(crap as they completely check phone) and Instant exchange(delivery guy installs Cashify diagnose app) and takes phone.
Maybe anyway after Cashify diagnose would have got same ?!
Cashify value changes try tomorrow
I took a brand new mobile to Cashify, they said "sir, we will open it, test the phone and then share the value"
That's Cashify for you in one line.
Cashify value up and downs. My device value go to 13k by next month it goes to 17k something. It is to some device specific.
Try other phone recycle vendors if available at your pincode
Thanks, any good suggestion?
The exchange value on the Samsung website is always "up to" and it changes very often depending on demand/supply. Even the models available for exchange keep changing.

You wrote 'site', for Samsung
and 'application' for Cashify.
How, if at all, is Cashify informing Samsung.. if you think it is doing so?
Are you using the same e-mail address, phone number on both platforms?
Or the IMEI (of the exchange device) entered on both platforms was the same?
If you are saying, that Samsung and Cashify share internal data with each other, I am trying to figure out "how did they identify you to be the same unique individual?".
The privacy policies of both platforms are not too clear on it, but unlikely that they can legally sell, share such personal identifies without explicitly informing the customer AND taking the customers consent for doing so.
(Unaware if the terms that one signs up for on these platforms, include any waivers. I have neither used these two platforms, nor researched theor privacy policies in-depth.)
Sorry, I mentioned site only but same thing for app/site.
I thought to get data for exchange value as Samsung finally relies on Cashify it is maybe showing amount based on Cashify + IMEI(by calling their API, I checked n/w they aren't calling cashify api directly but might be doing internally from their own 'device-offers' api call as they are sending IMEI to their API call).
Payload:
{
"sku": "SM-S911BZKB",
"postal_code": "my-postal-code",
"offer_ids": [
"1704781155996",
"1704780351076"
],
"imei": "MY-IMEI-ID",
"store_id": "corporate"
}
Same mobile number, same imei but different email ids.
The possibility that i can think of is, they must be having algorithms that reduce the price depending on number of people offer a particular device for sale, eg if in a month 200 users try to sell s20fe reduce the price by 2000 for any further enquiries. And yours might be that 200th
The more you get your device evaluated, the more they will reduce the price.
Always use same phone of someone's IMEI/Phone it self to get the approximate value.
Can someone tell which app does the exchange person from cashify run on the phone for diagnosis
There are 2-3 different apps on the play store
Based on samsung website : 'Cashify Diagnose' : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=i...

cashify never pays what's shown on 1st time.
