Caution while installation of washing machine

Other important points.

a) Make sure they are levelling the machine using a spirit level. This is important for maximizing the  machine life.

b) Make sure they remove the transit bolts from behind the machine. The locking bolts that prevent the drum from moving around during transportation. If they forget this out of carelessness the machine will self destruct on the first spin cycle.

c) Make sure you use only liquid detergent in the washing machine. Detergent powders stick the back of the drum and creates rust and imbalance to the drum.

You are right..
As far as detergent usage, LG mentions in user manual to prefer powder detergent, as liquid detergent may start solidify if not used immediately (especially when delay timer is used)

Interesting. Never knew there was a concept of rat mesh for WM and even provided for free. I thought only cars have those.

Leveling part is important. They just setup and leave. After a few days your machine will make that dhaad dhaad noise when spinning fast and lose its alignment soon .
