OFFER PROGRAM with Amazon.in:

SBI Card launches limited period sitewide ‘Offer Programs’ with Amazon.in from time to time. The 10X Reward Points benefit on your SimplyCLICK SBI Card will not be applicable for purchases made on Amazon.in during these programs, and only the Offer Program related discount / cashback will be applicable.

When no Offer Program is running between SBI Card and Amazon.in, 10X Reward Points will continue to accrue on using SimplyCLICK SBI Card for purchases made on Amazon.in.

To check the applicability of 10X Reward Points on your SimplyCLICK SBI Card, please refer Program terms and conditions at Amazon.in. The revision is applicable with effect from 01 Dec 2021.

REWARD POINTS:

Currently, 10X Rewards Points accrued on online spends at exclusive partner brands are capped at 10,000 points in a calendar month on your SimplyCLICK SBI card.

Please note that with effect from 1 Dec 2021, a cap of 10,000 Reward Points per calendar month will be applicable only on Amazon.in, post which every Rs. 100 spent on Amazon.in will accrue 1 Reward Point.

Exclusive Partners: Amazon.in, Apollo 24×7, Bookmyshow, Cleartrip, Lenskart, Netmeds.

Simply put, no more 10x rewards points on Amazon if there is an sbi offer already.

I am sorry to break your heart but it’s membership joining fees of 500+gst..it’s not annual membership if it was, then you would have waiver terms also here.

I think sbi card consider first time fee of 500 as both annual/joining fee because it is levied in the first bill itself. They even mention it on their site as “Annual Fee (one time):Rs. 499”. At least I or anyone I know here have never paid more than 500+gst in 12 months for sbi simplyclick/simplysave.

I am not sure about that since I had spent more than 1L. If this was not Joining and annual fee shouldn’t it be reversed?

SBI reverse annual fee in the 14th statement from the first statement month so if you get your first statement in jan 2020 then annual fee will be reversed in feb 2021.

With more and more people onboarding it’s hard to give everything to everyone so the reduction. Everyone started with big benefits. Either it be freecharge, paytm, mobikwik and no checks on how much one was using. After that they brought system checks to stop misuse of offers. Same with Credit card companies. For adoption at initial phases between 2009-2019, they rewarded with bigger benefits for card usage but Covid times increased pressure on eSystems with transactions booming and demand for cards rising with online txns from smaller parts of country too. Now they can’t give rewards to all.

Take simple example: Every company gives something free to lure customers but then if everybody starts coming to them they are left with nothing but to take off offer or reduce the freebies. Aur hum Indian ki aadat hi hai. Free suntey hi goosebumps.

last punch super.

Well if they keep on devaluating , it may be soon that the card would become useless
