Yesterday Morning, I received a message from union Bank of India... That my account is debited for ₹354 by branch.
I was not shocked but I read somewhere in desidime that the charges for rupay platinum debit card is increased in UNION BANK recently.
But I was upset seeing this charges (debit). This charges is too high in my opinion.
There was a debit charges waiver condition available in union Bank of India rupay platinum debit card.. I can't find the details right now on their website. I tried chatting with them in union Bank vyom bank, but they executive told that there is no waiver available in the card as it is a debit card. I laughed at him because he don't even know the charges for the card. I told him to check the website and other sources available to him... But he just told "we don't have access to view your account" and he sticked at this statement. 🤣🤣 Faltu ke bank and services.
Is the card fee waiver still available. The offer was CARD FEE WILL BE WAIVED OFF IF WE SPENT 40 POS/EPOS TRANSACTIONS.
Have anyone availed this offer?

Annual charges are waived in BSBDA/BSBDS accounts and also in accounts where the account holder does 40 POS/E-Com transactions in previous year.

Doing 40 POS/E-Com transactions in a year by debit card would mean foregoing cashback and offers available on other payment modes. Considering 12 Amazon Rupay Platinum bill payments, 28 more no-offer transactions would be required. Effectively the charges are always incurred directly by paying fees or by doing POS/Ecom transactions by foregoing offers
