In BSNL unlimited calling packs start from ₹18 (it is for two calendar days).
Then there is the ₹99 STV.
For 28 days validity, there is the ₹139.

Circle wise tariffs can be checked by referring to https://portal.bsnl.in/myportal/tariffs.do?PREPAID or by recharging from the BSNL site/ BSNL app.
Checking with customer care may lead to getting half information or them not telling that ₹18 gives two days calling and some dara too.

I don't get the idea behind people calling BSNL cheapest, please enlighten me. It needs a separate recharge for validity FFS

Jio's 395 or other 1799 recharges are far simpler & better IMO

The combined recharge cost of BSNL after all the plans will still be lower than jio and airtel if you did the right packs:) so BSNL is always cheaper comparatively:) IF YOU PICKD THE RIGHT BSNL PACKS

699 plan for 150 days

At ₹4.66/per day, it is marginally cheaper than the ₹439 pack (of 90 days benefit).
₹699 pack also gives some daily data for the first 60 days.

Else for pure calling only, the ₹439 pack would cost ₹4.88 per day.. which is 4.67% costlier than the ₹699 pack (MRP to MRP comparison).

I would suggest 797 + 500 using Rupay Platinum Amazon offer if ur calling frequency is less

797 gives 60 days unlimited calling + 300 days validity (60+240)

500 gives 500 Balance which can be used after 60 days

Rs 201 pack with 90 days validity is available when the number is in GP2 IIRC. Don't know if  UL calling is on the menu or not.

Unable to find the 'pulse' though.
(Few years back BSNL removed 'many' of the 'per second' billing plans OR converted them to 'per minute' pulse. Personally, I paid and would pay for per second pulse, even if a bit costlier. In per second pulse, 300 minutes will actually be treated as 18000 seconds. Whereas in the per minute pulse, even a 10 second or one second call will be billed as one minute.)

Not unlimited but I went with ₹1198 for my Dad, you could also consider ₹1499 or ₹1999. Screenshot from Karnataka circle website.
