Check the terms and conditions on flipkart page on which you ordered. It clearly mentions about open box delivery or not. Then accordingly you can check and give OTP
To be honest, the possibility of receiving a factory packed brand new item is very low.

If he doesn't let you open then check for the seals & any outer damages on box.
just check for any physical damage and all accessories and correct product make a video .
Maine toh Amazon se purchase kiya tha aur usse hi open karwakar check bhi Kiya tha. Look for physical damages in packaging and then try to convince him for switching it on to check for any screen damages.
Ps : Mine was also open box delivery.
On flipkart sms it was mentioned to check item before sharing otp. Otherwise item wont be returned.
It is open-box delivery for sure, they wouldn't have mentioned this if it is just OTP.
Delivery person will Unbox >> Check for Physical damages + If it is switching ON >> Share OTP if you're satisfied or reject the shipment otherwise. For any other hardware issues (Can't check everything in 5min), you can get a statement from the HiSense installation/Demo team (for refund/replacement)
i got my Vu tv deliverrd yesterday, though in app it was no shwoing OBD but after out for delivery i got call regarding open box delievry and email also
Even on the cartoon of the Tv Open Box Delievry sticker was pasted.
so kindly check that and then share otp with the guy after checking damages and missing items

Well in my case delivery guy is not allowing to turn on tv! Just checking for physical damage allowed
