Now we can claim price drop.
In flipkart
We have to just see that our product price has fallen or not. If fallen than go to order section then go to cancellation and there will be option of
1.cancellation & 2. claim price drop
By clicking price drop the amount of price change is credited as gift card after delivery

You’ll get refund only if the price dropped within 30 days of the items purchased in sale period
Good feature for who r wishing to save their time and energy by avoiding cancel and reorder, wait and follow up till their money got refunded. Hope it continues after BBD also

Amazon is not allowing to claim price drop. cc saying there’s no such service available in Amazon 
Yes saying they have changed their policies now.
So, we can’t do it once the product is delivered? I don’t see cancel option for delivered ones. I see return option though but I don’t see claim price drop

Is it your purchased product price dropped?
My product price drop by 100rs. They are showing this option. But I can’t able to click on Claim gift card of 100 rs.
Don’t know where the problem is ?
Update : There is no option as to claim it as gift card now. But you can still order after full cancellation with the new updated less price.
I just did for hp gaming mouse, saving 47rs
P.S – After cancellation amount will be credited back in 30 minutes.
NOTE: Please make sure, before try cancel, check product is enough in stock for re-order. Otherwise its riskier not able to get the new price and also will loose the old order(Once cancelled will not be reverted back).

How much time does it take to reflect the Gift Card in my Account ?? I was unabke to take any screenshot when I was cancelling and was offered a Gift Card and that product is soon going to get out of stock.
