Computer brightness auto increase
1) I don’t have adaptive brightness, checked both display and power settings
2) I have already reinstalled windows twice
3) I have enabled the Microsoft basic drivers for graphics
4) Problem is starting since motherboard replacement
5) One strange thing is, when I open my laptop in the morning, the system runs smoothly after 25 mins the brightness gets increased to its max value. After restart within 5 mins the brightness gets increased.
6) The problem has started after the motherboard replacement
7) My computer is fully updated

Trust me bhai, bahat acha hai
@bikidas2060 No idea bhai. Most of the fix you have already tried it.
Check power plan and set it to default settings. Can’t think of anything else as never heard of such an issue…
Bug by Gates to increase your eye bill…. Auto brightness may be still on…
In the services window, double-click on “Sensor Monitoring Service,” which will lead to the service settings window. Click “Stop” and select “Disabled” from the drop-down menu found next to “Startup type.” Save the changes by clicking “OK.”
Na rehega bass na bajegi baasuri
Translation: say no to Pharma Gates.
I checked bhai it is stopped
I don’t know if this works, but give it a try,
Disable intel display power saving technology in Intel HD graphics control panel
.
Bhai check this
It looks like it happens on specific apps. Can you confirm if that’s the case? Some video players or apps do crank up the brightness or override the power settings.
@bikidas2060 You tried most options. Try disabling the graphics and display related drivers. Start enabling once you gain confident over the brightness change. What is the laptop model?
Lenovo Legion y7000 PG0 laptop bhai

Kya bhai. Khatarnak kaam.kar rhe ho
There is some software for auto brightness and temperature control as in yellowish or blueness
Give that a go
Tweak power settings in power plan at the deepest levels.
Search of any bios update is available. Do that
I still use km player
No player can match it’s speed of seek i.e. forward and backward in a. Video
And butter smooth playback
seems drivers issue. ru using the same drivers before? i mean the exact same versions.
Yes bhai. Same same
Go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options, then click on “Change plan settings” next to your active power plan. Click on “Change advanced power settings.” Scroll down to Display, then under Enable adaptive brightness, switch it off for both the battery and plugged in modes.
My laptop doesn’t support adaptive brightness. I have checked the same
There are multiple options here try these
@bikidas2060 its i7 or i5 processor?
i7 bhai
As already suggested by dimers try power management trick also reinstall all drivers(also display one) if it doesnt work Try to install linux on it If this problem still remains then its a hardware problem we cant do anything Else if linux is stable then some driver problem with windows.
Rightly said. I use WSL. I have downloaded pop os. I ll install it tomorrow.
_ 6) The problem has started after the motherboard replacement_
Get it checked for hardware issues.
Ye Lenovo walon ko samajana padega

Mystery bro
Have you checked after booting into Safe Mode?
In safe mode brightness control is missing
It happened to me that when my keyboard had a problem and my Laptop also was Lenovo. I had to get it replaced by Lenovo customer support and it was within warranty.
pakka hardware issue hai like u yourself suspect don’t waste time with os driver reinstall settings safe mode etc repaired mobo laga diya hoga last time …at most check and update bios like @LIMBO suggested warna ask technician to bring both mobo keyboard if possible
I am thinking like this bhai.
Lenovo has finally admitted that this is a faulty motherboard issue. My board ll be replaced 🙂🙂🙂
Replaced?? Issue resolved?
which model and when did u buy for how much ?
Lenovo Y7000 pg 0, bhai my laptop costed 65k. Last year I bought. This year I accidentally broke my headphone jack, at least that’s what Lenovo people said to me. After that they replaced the motherboard. And the new motherboard is probably giving issue
