Yes truecaller also sells data.

It has our phone and contacts permission and if taken call recording feature also then everything is with truecaller to sell at good price..

Many apps in our phones also sell data which they get from our blindly giving every permission.

Never got such calls.

But yes am receiving miss calls from airtel which are marked as spams on truecaller

Right
Users always give all permissions without even reading…trusted apps like banks apps, govt apps can be given permissions but other apps like wallet and any app which has permission to read your phone messages is a threat for you as These apps can read ur OTPs, transactions, etc…Therefore give permissions by carefully reading…


There should be a caption written there before giving permissions :-
“Giving permissions is subject to Fraud risk,please read all permission document carefully before using the app”

Ok. But what data true caller has ? I have given only my name, phone number and email address to them. Tons of other sites has more data than that including your pan card, bank information, debit/ credit card.
Once 150 – 200 people mark a number as spam the spammers calls are automatically muted for other users. Also at least they get advance warning before they even take the call, so I still believe in Truecaller.

Ya i hve also installed Truecaller….but have not given it all permissions which are threat to data leak

I too got the call from a number who told me that i m the first winner of paytm mall lucky draw, and win a prize of tata safari or cash 12.50lakh. i know it’s a fake call but the maine point is how they came to know that i have something from paytm mall aweek ago?? Do fix this paytm, otherwise u will lose many of ur customers

Firstly My comment was to say that paytm office call that to from jharkand made me 100 % believe that its fake call as paytm has remote chances of office there.


No better  work there  means
its 1000 % their mistake. Better list that, solution will be available by themselves if  they looked at it, without need of anyone to provide for.

And again not to offend anyone, bihar and jharkand are famous for things the prime reason for it .
