It's very vast subject and proper guidance will be in guidance, there is no desidime exist there..
There are no free lunches.
Either get customised guidance based upon life stage and personal goals , certified CFP required.
Or appoint wealth manager if urs liquid surplus is above 25 lacs for financial investment
( Besides u need an expert for real estate)
Simply, put without payment we can max. And balance our portfolio in debt and equity.
Which may be on selected MFs and NPS besides PPF.
In case we have intention to invest above 5 lacs in direct stocks, we can take help of small case and PMS like IAP service from Motilal Oswal.

Q1: Don't have much idea about travel cards but maybe Niyo global or Scapia is good for it
Q2: Acc to me if someone invested good amount into stocks/gold and gained a good profit on that, he must withdraw the capital amount or a part of the profit and keep the rest amount invested. The withdrawn amount according to rquirement of that money he can keep in debt funds or can do FD in a small finance bank which is giving good interest rate right now.
