Do not understand the reason..

Our government is working hard to create one of the best country of the world; still…………………..

Within India, we do have much better places, still dnt understand why one fly overseas – leaving their family/friends/relatives here..

Just assuming situation of SnrCitizen parents, who can see their kids only on whatsapp till years… And playing with Grandson is just a dream…….

Better air quality, better food quality, higher life expectancy (caused by many different factors)
I am not particularly crazy of moving outside India (or even out of my city) but I find that our country lacks in the above things from a general observation

May be, But at the same time, there might be something good here, which they cannot find there So, overall when we have to review life after 5-10 yrs, I have always heard NRI's saying that - 'Kuch be bolo, India jaisa to nai hai yaha' (in a sense that they always miss India) "@sence":https://www.desidime.com/users...84 "@A2Zdeals":https://www.desidime.com/users/...67

Btw, frankly I hate the urban life. If you ask me, indian urban life is comparatively the best.
I won’t like living in populated places like London, New York, etc.
My dream home would be some low populated country, e.g. Finland, Sweden, etc.
Human beings = Problems

For study, if you want admission in some respectable institution competition is nuts in India. You have to work very hard to be able to take admission. Whereas in foreign many institutions would be good with good job placements later on.

For work, minimum wage in foreign is there and currency conversion plays the trick. Plus good Occupation Environment. So benifits both way.

Tradeoff between family vs. better life most times.

The advantages I see is that better earnings, better quality of life, less population, better governance in some developed countries, better healthcare, free education etc.

In short, a better value for taxes paid.

Better compared to India?

Also, your progeny will never have to buy fairness cream again.

Politically incorrect but true.

I can live anywhere in this world (if its habitable of course) if someone gives me 1000 crores.

Population.

1. Inaccessible to TOP colleges (lot of competition, and placements)
2. Unequal distribution of Educators (The laureates, professors are few and ratio compared to students are low)
3. Under developed country students goto developing, and Developing students goto developed.(not true in past few years)

I wouldn’t mind people going to different countries to get knowledge, getting to know the education, culture, etc are good.

This might be because there’s no discrimination, but again have no idea if asians are treated equally.
I personally feel those who go abroad they may get paid well but only when their salary is converted to INR, if we see cost of living there, they live like a miser to save and cant afford most of the luxury that initially lured them into moving there. And most of them cant even move back to india as there’s no sufficient demand in india for their degrees acquired abroad, also it would make them look like a loser if they come back.
Most people go there for studies and end up working there to recover the college fees and they get stuck in this trap.
I am not sure about others but some of my relatives who went there are calling me also there by saying theres good prospect but i really doubt that they must be calling their relatives to get out of the loneliness. As dont think indians are treated well as foreigners.

Having said,

Why our people (who are already abroad) don’t want live in Europe/Americas/Australia, according to me:
1. Racism – like it or not, local people hate you..
2. Family back home – elderly parents etc
3. Sudden awakening and belief in Indian ways / family bonding / sanskruti esp when kids are growing up. But they mostly won’t be coming back because their kids won’t agree to their thoughts/ideologies.
4. 90% crib about how India is best suited for them, higher taxes, everything is becoming expensive here, education/healthcare is soo expensive… blah blah… but will never come back (Or is it 99%?) unless there is some real compulsion from family, health etc. Even if they lose their job, they wd like to stay there and try for another, but will never come back to India, asmuch as possible.
.

Now coming to why people want to go abroad/stay there:
1. Most of the reasons are already addressed – opportunities, money, life style, phoren craze, India -ves..

I have 5 immediate cousins who have moved to white countries for studies and job prospects.
They love that people are less there, but feel lonely af without many other Kannadigas near them and want to come back in 10 years or so (which I feel will be impossible if they have kids there).

same with my cousins

One of them is having huge problem.

He need his parents with him. But parents avoids to stay for months. Few weeks ok..
Once he was so frustrated, he started planning to shift back.
He started investing here and visited 2-3 times to settle.
Kids born there. They are facing skin allergy problem whenever they come.

now, he have to be there just because of his kids.
parents, cannot live there for long. (winters and age related issues)
anyhow, he wants to come back, but helpless

2. According to me, of all the positives, the main aspect is the quality of life is a significant part. Here, 24 hrs is not sufficient with work + travel + family (with associated politics everywhere) and you don’t do justice to any. There, you have ample time for everything, because you don’t “waste” too much time unlike here. Everything is so efficient & systematic that every moment you spend there will give you more return on investment (yes, even $ wise) compared to here. This is a significant +ve.  Also to add, it’s difficult to be honest here, where as you are more or less forced to be so there.
.

PS: This is based on my living experience & my personal beliefs. Some how I never felt integrated into their society unlike here, had similar work opportunities even here, n had compulsions of being here for my parents etc n hence didn’t want to stay there.

But not based on caste

If this is done in india then our country will be deleloped

Let intelligent people leave the country… Why should they pay taxes for bringing up other people in India?

there are many politicians/businessmen who send their relatives/kids to foreign countries so that they can invest the ill-gotten wealth on their names… ex: vijay mallya

One reason is also some get hooked on to their wife and leave their parents alone in India, while they stay separately abroad/

Shamless breed. Hell must have a special section for such people who desert their old parents

Deal Subedar Deal Subedar

The main reason is stay away from their parents for their freedom….. I have seen people coming back and unable to adjust with aging parents and leave them and go back…. After staying for ten years away and being in an independent house, 99% people are unable to adjust with their siblings or parents

Deal Subedar Deal Subedar

True

But, generally parents are also invited for taking care of their kids. This is what I have observed in maximum cases.
And parents also stay there as they have family attachments, but majority of parents are not happy to live there

If one had asked me till 31st March, 2020 I would have said that our country has everything. But this virus shit made me introspect. We will never ever become a developed country.
I had some family health issues so dropped the idea of going out during my college days. To all the young dimers, if your family’s business which you will take over one day is giving you atleast a million dollars usd in gross then stay and expand ur business otherwise please go to a better country,

One reason:
Most of the INDIANS don’t Promote INDIAN products, doesnot matter how good they are.

So, Industry fails bcoz of these things. So no jobs.

JOB SABKO CHAHIYE INDIA ME, LEKIN PRODUCT PROMOTE KARENGE IMPORTED.

You can find many examples on this.

One thing could be:
We select our Representatives MLA,MP depending on their Caste, Religion.

We don’t focus on actual problems.

E.g. Bihar faces Floods every year. But surprisingly neither the citizens nor any political party raised this issue.
I was shocked and was waiting for someone to raise this issue. sleepy

It’s like dur ke dhol suhane, grass is always greener on other side, I have lived in Australia for 3years did my masters and worked for almost an year but no matter what u will always miss India in each and everything you do there, patriotism you feel there watching Indian team play is very different, while staying here we never cared but over there we realise it is the country which gives us identity else we are nobody, outsiders for whole life. Its good to dream big and chase your dreams but do not leave your loved ones far behind chasing the dreams else one day when you become a big man and you look back you will realise how much lost just to gain some worthless physical things.

Health care care sector has to be uplifted..

I have 2 health insurance Policies and doubt they will come in handy when I would need as I am remotely located and also the pressure health sector is facing..

I hope opening AIIMS in all state actually helps people and are able to get same treatment irrespective of state..

Hope something that we rely on..
