Banks report on the last day of the month. If you can pay back the difference and get it down to less than 30%. Only the balance will be reported.
Don't wait till statement generation.
If I spend more than 30% on my axis card and pay it before bill generation, how much axis will report to CIBIL? What about other banks like SBI, HDFC, ICICI, etc
Somewhere I've read Axis reports 2 times to CIBIL, once on bill generation date and second time on last day in a month, is this true?

Not sure on axis but it's as below for others -
Sbi - statement generation
Icici - statement generation
Hdfc - month end
For ICICI - they report the amount that gets billed on billing date. However, not sure on which date they report it to cibil
Suppose you spent 30,000 but before your bill was generated you paid 20,000. So, now bill will show due amount as 10,000. And ICICI will report only 10,000 as credit utilization to Cibil.
Axis:- In my case I observed that they report the total amount that you utilize irrespective of that fact that how much you repaid before bill generation.
Suppose you spent 30,000 but before your bill was generated you paid 20,000. So, now bill will show due amount as 10,000. But Axis will report complete 30,000 as credit utilization to Cibil.
@Demon_slayer please clarify regarding utilization part, especially in AXIS case. @ignoustories256 saying that AXIS reports entire amount. This is confusing.
Just pay all your outstanding amount before cibil reporting date. Your cibil score will

My Cibil score is 870. I just pay the total amount due on one day before due date. Do we really need to care about when they report?
BTW, I had 9 credit cards once. Now have 6. One Housing loan.
Mine is 800 no loan. Only credit cards.![IMG20231227201246](https://cdn0.desidime.com/attachments/photos/983904/medium/IMG20231227201246.jpg?1703688369)
