For house wife’s its tough without FD or Bank account etc due to income proofs
Unless u are getting a deal like Apay card for etc, then apply for a separate card.
Else just have her an add-on card.
thanks @vimvim, @ Manitian. Yes, i applied for ICIC Amazon Pay card for her and received with lower limit.
Later, SBI card associate said based on ICICI card, i can apply for SBI simply click card for her. But later it got rejected.
any workaround?
How did you apply for apay card without income?
@andromeda She is amazon prime customer and applied from amazon and the application was accepted and approved. Given aadhar and pan card.. no other docs
No income documents right?
intention is to get benefits of SBI simply click milestone benefits … which i already availed on my card
Open a HDFC bank account and maintain balance for 2 months, then apply for a card without income docs.
Is there any HDFC card without annual charge? How much one should maintain & are you sure HDFC issue credit card by maintaining balance in the account?
@BubbleBoyChickenLittle Yes this account is sufficient but I forgot to mention, do lots of transactions using your debit card. Using it for paying bills including credit card bills will help you. There is speculation that HDFC debit card spends help you with your credit card application.
So open account, maintain as high balance as possible like 50k+, do lots of transaction using your debit card for 2 months and apply without income docs.
@Mufasa Use Debit card. My application was rejected twice. Then I opened account, maintained 50k+, Did 150k transaction using debit card and applied in 2 months, approved without income docs. It was not pre-approved.
@vimvim About 2 -3 months with high debit card transactions. It is better if you apply through branch using salary slips. Any reason why it was rejected?

I opened HDFC account in July maintained decent balance and my LTF card is on the way for delivery.
I opened account September 2019 my account completed 1 year maintained 30k+ doing 5-10k monthly transactions still no card offer. Then withdrawn all my money from HDFC last month and maintaining only 5k in minimum balance 🤣.

Maine haal chod diya HDFC se. Will open a 1 lac FD next year January in SBI and get a Simplyclick card against that.
Good decision but keep in mind that sbi card against fd once opened can not be modified in any way meaning no limit change by modifying fd amount(increasing or decreasing) or converting card to any other variant.
Just give your wife an add-on card with high limits.

, biwi ko kon sudhar saka hai. For credit card to wife, we have option to put limit on it. Applied apay card to get 700 cb . Wanted to apply sbi card to get benefit of milestone benefits but no luck.
I Got Amazon Pay Icici Card Based On Cibil Score with 50k limit. Having 700 score ( Cibil Score got it via 4 times gold loan 5 years back my frnd took on my name ). I don’t have any job, no business, nothing. No Documents Given. Only Selfie Video Authentication. After 25 days Got A Mail Approved From Credit Card Department and Received Card in 3 Days ( October 2020). I don’t Have Any accounts in Icici bank.
Thats It.
