Hello,

Do we get 1% cashback (using HDFC Millennia card) if we pay credit card bill through MobiKwik? anyone has tried this??

I tried it and even after 90 days I didn’t get any cashback. I thought it would be considered as wallet load (1% cashback) cry .

confused

At that time, some people posted saying CC bill payments via mobikwik are considered as wallet load. I trusted them blindly. pensive

I had paid CC bill around 1.2 lakhs. So, I could have got around rs.1200 cashback on my millennia debit card if paid via hdfc billpay cry

cc payments using any hdfc debit card (not just millennia card) can’t get cashback according to hdfc cashback tnc.

the tnc says: “No CashBack points for transactions on Fuel, Jewellery & Business Services including Credit Card Payment, Insurance Premium Payment & other Business Services”.

But, I bought Jewellery on Amazon and still got cashback using Millennia debit card. Also, I have been getting 2.5% cashback for buying pineperks prepaid card, which I use to pay insurance premiums. laughing
It all depends on whether the transaction type is properly communicated to the bank and captured at the bank’s end.

Take a look at tnc again for each card. It is mentioned on millenia card but not platinum variant.
https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/mil...
https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/pay/cards/deb...

The transactions are all communicated in the correct format, it’s what their systems categorize. One such user did not even get the usual cashback with billpay and platinum variant, but the same user got the cashback on another payment after a few days. As usual, no one has any clue why it did not come or why it came.

Like you already said, it is all a big circus in the background. Neither the users are clear nor the systems in the background. If it works, use it, if not, look for better options.

Pineperks card is listed in Amazon (out of stock maximum times), you can buy with Apay 5% cashback also.
