I Visited Irctc Railway lounge in jaipur in Facility they have sofa Ac was not on may be i visited in december and meal was like 150Rs Thali you get in hotel but unlimited, washroom are clean compare to outside just not the feel of very good lounge and last at that time only one other family is there they just eat food and left.

I visited in Delhi with mmt ICICI... experience was nice..
Seating and ambience was like airport lounges.. sleeping is also available on paid basis.
Menu options are a bit limited but sufficient. Taste is good considering railways. Treatment was also good..
So no complaints whatsoever 🙂

i was at new delhi railway station one week ago and i knew there are railway lounges in our country so i read information from this post and went to the railway lounge to have some food, i am sharing the experience with you all.....
1st problem was that I forgot my IDFC card to avail the complimentary access but still i went to the lounge to check it out as my train was 2 hours late....(train was garib rath)
i went to the person and showed him 2/3 cards which i had taken with me (one card/ hdfc debit card / junio)
he told it wont work....
so i told then whats the other way to get inside this lounge....he told pay 150 Rs....and then pay for buffet lunch which cost around 500 Rs something i think....
(meanwhile he look here and there i saw there is a menu available with him, i saw it and i was comfortable with the prices of the items)
i told him i do not want buffet i will pay entry fees and have food as per my requirement.....but he was not giving me details about this.... (in short i wanted to have Ala Carte but he was not happy for it) but still i did not go from there i said see there is a menu on your table and there is price list so what is it?
then he told me ....yes ala carte is available....
finally i went inside and ordered some food.....
food was okay, ambience was great, there were many facilities inside....waiting room, washroom, shower room, ala carte restaurant, lounge area,etc..
so it was a good place to spend some time while waiting for my train and have some food......
