Want to know which credit cards have 10x kind of reward points or tie ups with any wallet site such as freecharge?
Something more than 2% cashback or rewards is what I am looking for

@bargainhunter Hope you utilized the Citibank accelerated rewards/miles offer for Freecharge which was valid till Mar 31. I sure did.
Not aware of any such offers for wallets which are presently valid. But I am also interested to know.

Yes, they do. Their offers are for all transactions, which is good. But the offers are not frequent and usually last only for a short period of time. Moreover, we are interested in wallet specific offers if you catch our drift.

Yes bro! Utilized ~50k per month on freecharge. This month is now dry!
Good to see someone catching the frequency so accurately!

Hahaaa…yes and no, bro. I think you are still not realizing the extent of what we are trying to do here.
Anyway, have you found some reliable way to buy Rupay prepaid cards online? Is that IRCTC card working on other sites now? CC @rajdesidime

Sbi simply click card offers 10x points on amazon, Ola, Bookmyshow inter alia.
I guess dimers will find out ways to utilize these merchants / wallets.
Ola money
Bookmyshow wallet
What will you do if you get 10x points on wallets? Value of those points still remain within 2%.
If you can elaborate a bit.

I don’t think it is a very good card. For Amazon gift voucher worth Rs. 1000, you need 5200 points ie spend Rs. 52000 on 10x partners. Which is just 1.92%!

Citibank had 2.8%

On my Citi Premier Miles card, 1 mile = 0.45 rupee for redemption on Yatra, Goibibo, etc.
I get 4 miles per 100 bucks spent (=1.8%) for all purchases. For accelerated miles merchants like Flipkart, I get 10 miles per 100 bucks spent (=4.5%).

But is it the real value because at times other banks have better promotional coupons for flight booking?

You and I know both know that flight coupons are mostly a hogwash (they just offset the convenience fees in most cases).
Until the recent wallet offers, the discount scene for flights sucked real bad. In any case, I earn and redeem the miles often so I love that card.

Recently there are offers like 1200/1300 cashback(bank specific), so isn’t that card losing a bit of relevance unless you are using it for lounge access and most of the spends are at accelerated rewards partners?

Examples?
As for the card’s utility, yes, I do cringe a little nowadays when I see good wallet/bank specific offers. But Yatra’s flat 500/1000 off code (via Freecharge) made me happy. Besides, 1.8% on all purchases is not bad. I pay only 1000 for annual fee (special rate ) and get 3000 miles on every renewal. So, in a way, they are paying me 350 bucks for using this card.
Moreover, this card has the highest credit limit for me (mostly because I use it for >90% of all my purchases). And, yes, I do enjoy the lounges often.

Like that HSBC cleartrip 1200 off on 5000+ on round trip booking.
You mentioned elsewhere, the card was a converted one due to discontinuation of earlier variant. 1000 including Service tax?? Great if you are getting it for free, those apprehensions valid only for those using this product by paying Rs. 3000+taxes. I yhink Citi, HDFC and SCB provide decent credit limits, Icici seems worst.
Sorry, your thread has been hijacked

They have made that HSBC offer valid only on Fridays now, so not good for people like me who usually book at the last minute.
As for the annual fee, it’s 1000+ST. Yes, they grandfathered me in from a discontinued card. Agree with the bank-specific credit limits in general, but I have a decent credit limit (3L+) on my ICICI card as well, probably because I also have a corporate current account with ICICI.

Yes, corporate class travellers have different requirements
Maybe special conditions for premium customers, otherwise they are not that much liberal
@bargainhunter Hope you utilized the Citibank accelerated rewards/miles offer for Freecharge which was valid till Mar 31. I sure did.
Not aware of any such offers for wallets which are presently valid. But I am also interested to know.
