I have opened an account with IndusInd bank and provided my Indian address for communication purpose.

Now, when the Debit card gets delivered to my Indian address, can any blood relative accept the card from the delivery guy on my behalf?

I asked two persons from the bank. One said that the blood relative needs to show her ID only to receive the kit.

Other one said that the blood relative needs to show not only her ID but also my ID as well.

Now, at present, at that address, I only have my ration card available as proof.

Need an opinion from you guys, who may have faced a similar situation.

Most chance, it will be bluedart courier. Tell them your problem, they will give you, if not tell them some money they will surely give. In my region all delivery boys know me very well. I can collect anyone’s even atm, aadhar.

P.S. once upon a time worked as delhivery boy.

Send you digital copy of adhar or pan to the relative , they show them in Mobile..no issue discuss..curier boy will give the card.

I tried the same trick in company’s inside courier . They handed over me atm pin after paper work but lastly ask for ID but since I faked my identity. They told me to come with your friend. No offense

most probably he will ask for ID. So, better to be on the safe side, I will send soft copies of my IDs to the blood relative. And she already has her own ID. so I am hoping they will deliver.

In case I ask the person to fake, in worst case they will send the kit back.

You are taking so much stress. Nothing bad will happen and no need to fake.you already prepared so well that delivery person can’t deny. stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes smile

this method is quite handy. even amazon uses the same otp based delivery for high priced items.

recently got my kotak 811 debit card delivered without my presence…just an otp will come before delivery….you can give to the delivery boy…it was bluedart
