Hello Dimers,
We have evolved from a very basic forum to where we are now… Its a interesting journey and we have learnt a lot from Dimers on what works and what does not work… 
Lately we started with a major upgrade for Desidime where we are consolidating many of the features to provide the most valuable information to Dimers and visitors of the website…
We rolled out the stores and categories page in New design format where all information about a particular store (be it deal, coupon or a discussion thread) nicely tucked on one single page..

We obviously rolled out Chat functionality which is still being worked on and will completely replace PM in next few months.
And now we are moving our efforts towards forums.. DesiDime forums is more than just deal sharing platform or plain vanilla forums… Its the most vibrant place on the internet where any shopaholic would love to be
I am attaching a screenshot of the future Forum thread (Or you can say deal)… Some of the key highlights would be Wiki (Currently Admin/Mod driven Wiki but would soon be more like a Community wiki so all top information is summarised which OP might have missed out on), ability to flag comments, ability to chat with dimers from same window (a better version), ability for the OP to upload images on Desidime server itself (no need to upload on imgur etc..), collapsing of quotes so its easier to read on mobile etc…
We would be bringing on many changes around how deal/coupon is submitted vs how a trade thread is started… We would be using this thread to keep posting regular updates so that way, all of us can together build a better community for the Dimers.
Comments are welcome and please restrict it to only discussion around the screenshot/features posted.

no didnt liked the new look plz change to old one. very bad looking, nwo i cant see the time on which the person commented even after howering over post .
It feels like there’s no connection between the member details and the actual post in threads.
Probably Square view for profiles is better than rectangle ones and increase the size of the profile picture and profile name in every post, too much space wasted between FPS-Dimes-Karma details
It would be nice to have a reply button at the bottom too
Just because of deal baba corner icon I am unable to write complete comment in quick reply .

Simplicity is the new trend. I would like it if you roll back to basics. Completely changing the whole UI at one go won’t look good to eyes. I do not use app, so can’t comment on that, but as far my suggestion goes, I would like to settle with the old UI.

FYI – I did Access to new design Looks lik you have no clue what is my other Id is 
I don’t use mobile app, but access DD via mobile browser. This new ui and changes are easy for me to access
1. There are no margins on the sides, it looks weird.
2. Too cluttered with deal notifications.
3. The tagged notification always shows 30 ‘unread’ irrespective of the fact that it has been read.
4. When checking the notification page, there is no ‘time stamp’ against the events—mentioned or liked.
I would like to add since you are changing the site opting for a more ‘eye friendly’ colour scheme would be nice.
As far as link colours goes, we would constantly be making changes on Monday… Thanks for your patience.

The old one was better. Currently the font colour of the thread titles are not good. Kindly change the colour

→ The Dimer details ( left hand side ) covers too much area. It’s better if you could reduce that area and increase the right hand side area available for comments and replies.
→ The colour of thread titles ( say, in the Hot Deals Section for example ) hurts my eyes.
1. Profile pic should be big.
2. You can add ‘become a fan/remove fan’ and ‘start chat’ alongside ‘Give karma’ option,rather than current side menu in dimer info (left hand side).
3. New reply/edit tab is good.

but for desktop more optimization required
Margins should be reduced. We have to roll our eyes all over the length of the screen to read a sentence. It would be better if length of line is reduced by 20%. Gave a feedback last time they reduced margins. Now it looks margins r reduced even more. It might increase the usage space but readability will reduce as we skimmer through the lengthy posts most of the times.
Well, give me a chance to review the changes first. 
P.S. In case it’s not clear, my first suggestion would be to NOT display this prompt immediately upon the first login. Give the users some time to review the changes and perhaps display it on the next login.

@admin Two quick suggestions after browsing the new interface for some time:
(1) Keep the page navigation bar at the top of a thread as well (like earlier).
(2) Increase the shadow for the various display elements/boxes to make them a little more distinctive. Right now, the posts seem to run into each other without a clear distinction and the entire page looks a little too white.
most important feature to be added is :-
please allow users to edit his/her comments, post or thread titles after 24 hours because right now if try to edit it the page redirects to login page. means we cant edit our comment after 24 hours and we need to contact admin its very annoying and frustrating every time so wud request admins to add this feature to let us edit our comment after 24 hours.

Update:
5. When using vpn, the outgoing links are not accessible. I have to remove the DD prefix from the link to access them.
