Haven't recharged since mid march but today accidently checked and internet working fine on 4G indoor. what the hell? is it some glitch or what? Any input dimers?

Its not a glitch. It's their random process to keep the number active if not recharged. They credit data pack for a few days so that the number is kept active.

@getready, @limbo So is Idea not unique in doing it? Does Jio imgorm the customer via message of flash message or maybe after logging on to maro dot com that okay so and so pack is active (even if complimentary). It has service validity too? Meaning I do not know of Jio but in VodaIdea, I do not think the main balance can be used to make outcalls, even when the complimentary data validity is added.

I also got like that 2-3 times,but it lasted 3 days .no active pack, however got internet

To keep the sim alive they do this. They give 2gb data per day 5 days...

same happened with my father number, after 2-3 days it stopped working.
