I am mixed up in deciding my consumption sources. Magazines, Newspapers, Social Media, YouTube, News Websites, etc. There's so much with their pros and cons.
Recently got Magzter subscription & I'm liking the fact that Newspapers & Magazines cover all aspects at one place, reducing the need to go around for different things. They have something about all aspects of life, health, lifestyle, tech, news & so much.
What's your age & how do you do it?

Sometimes when available in front of me.
I have been reading one daily for the past 25 or so years.
I still think a newspaper is unbeatable as a source of news. An annual or multi-year subscription costs around Rs 1k-2k a year. Most scrap merchants buy old newspapers which covers more than half of the subscription costs easily. The ongoing rate here in Mumbai is Rs 14/kg which is like 2 weeks worth of newspapers. Old newspapers also come in handy for packaging and various other needs. They cause less strain on your eyes than a TV or a cellphone. Some might say that you miss out on 'breaking news' but I say newspapers encourage patience by making you wait to read about it the next day. There is hardly any 'breaking news' that everyone needs to be aware of immediately. If there has been a natural or man-made calamity 'breaking news' will reach you by word of mouth anyway. There are ads, classifieds and some useless news (especially in the celebrity/entertainment section) but you can simply turn the page and be done with it. Most English newspapers have a leaning but they will also carry articles from authors with an opposite perspective.
