As per Internal Sources even Cheq Employees are using Cred to pay bills. grin

Cheq was a failure due to below reasons:

- launched without basic features (like bill tracking/reminder, fast processing of payments, addition/removal of cards)

- failed to troubleshoot/rectify issues with their gvs.

- frequent (very frequent) devaluations.

- started charging from customers even they have no features.

Usp - you can pay all ur bills at once.

Back to cred, Paytm and mobikwik when some coupon codes are available.

Yes. Back to Cred + PayTM.

Will think of Cheq only for payments of 1Lac and above.

They will survive only if they revoke processing fee of 0.2% and keep at a nominal rate 1 or 2/- per transaction.

Big players who are in the market form quite sometime havn't strated charging and here comes cheq who thinks it is winning they will shut down very soon.
Their rating fell badly.

What's the use of these apps, taking headache to make multiple payment for "chillar" cashback. Isn't simply setting up autopay for TAD better with regards to peace of mind that it offers or am I missing something?

Entertainer Entertainer
Link Copied

What's TAD?

Yes, autopay is the best option,  but some likes to manage thenselves due to following reasons:

- want flexibility of payments

- can pay whenever they have money

- for rewards

- to find offers associated with their cards.

- pay/manage cards at single place

I have been using CRED since its inception and will continue to do so. Occasionally I use PayTM when some good credit card cashback offers come like the CCFLASH100 promotion last week. PhonePe also launched a promotion for credit card payment but only gave Rs 4 for bill payment of Rs 5000! So used that once.

Stopped using Cheq after the promotion for 1.5x coins for Axis Bank cards ended and the rapid pace of devaluation happened for the app.

I have completely stopped cred since 3-4 months. It seems too much of effort to login everyday and do multiple payments of 1000 and collect rewards, which is around 100 total in a month.

I sometimes use even Paytm with 0.2% cb offers. So cheq is still offering 0.3% cb, which is better for me. In fact, I started using cheq only few weeks back, as I don't want to try too new apps.

Now cheq seems to have stabilized with very few failures (none for me yet). And with convinience fee, they have started adding more lower denominations vouchers available like 50 RS swiggy, 100rs pvr and 250rs Big basket.

So I will probably continue using it, unless they do one more devaluation.

For me, it's been Cred-->PostPe-->Cheq-->Postpe (again).

Postpe with 0.25% CB without charges anytime beats Cred for payments >10k.

Using both the apps. Sometimes cred precious coins rageare awarded which are so far useless to me. On the other hand, cheq is awarding coins which always have value.

Haven't used postpe so far.

Even I have been using Paytm n mobikwik depending on better offers.

As long as the 99Rs processing fee gives me a value of more than 4 times then Cheq will be my choice

Cheq is not reliable for long run. They have given the points and coupons equivalent points. Now they reduced the value of the points. Now they are limited the coupons to redeem. Only one brand  coupon can use monthly

I am still using cred as I get more benefited with Cheq app compared to other for paying bills more than 50000...

In paytm or mobikwik we can option to apply coupon code once.....

Basic thing is missing with CheQ which is support.

Which build trust, cred have that many times i complaint for referral issues they credited and solved it very smoothly. In last dhanteras we looted them still they are their to solve issues no account block nothing. Which build trust becoz it was their failure or bug if we looted that much on that particular day.

So any day cred is much safe and reliable in comparison to Cheq.

Cheq basically dont want customers. They want rich peoples who can pay charges and those peoples dont know about Cred.
But that is impossible Even Indira nagar ka Gunda know what is cred.
