Guys 👦 and gals 👧,
Amazon interface was so simple earlier… offer shown on payment page was sureshot confirmation.

Then they came up with these weird collect offers, user specific offers, sometime cashback 💰 even if not shown at last, and what not 😠

So one offer I didn’t get cb, i said let it be. Then one more time it happened. Yesterday 3rd time in 3 weeks it has happened I want to take it up with cc my irritation with their ignorance notwithstanding 😡

So please contribute to poll. Comments also welcome 🙏🏻

for my recent amazon fresh order(oct 24th), this afternoon one of the associates credited rs.200 manually

I had one or two bitter and mostly sweet experiences dealing with these kind. The bitter ones are from Amazon fresh order where the call went for close to 2hrs with the escalation team and finally at the denying end. Tried talking to them another day and the person from escalation manually added GC of the cashback value without hearing much. I felt like I disturbed his afternoon nap, so he processed over losing his sleep time.

Yes they do credit cashback manually. But you should need proof in order to ask them or a note by cc which you took before doing payment. Proof could be a screenshot of a banner offer/collect offer/payment time(cb applied).

But amazon is evolving like anything, they recently denied me 15% cashback for more supermarket txn, citing that I had multiple accounts.
The surprising part is that they told me this on live phone call (so it isn’t something that they had dug deep for)
I couldn’t have debated there, since the cashback was meagre and I actually had multiple accounts toungueout

For me for more txn they denied because it was shop for minimum Rs.300 their interpretation was each item in bill should be minimum Rs.300! I was bowled, stumped and run out at the same time 😂😂

But mostly happens with general customer service
The specialist teams (e.g. Amazon pay department, accounts specialists) are much better smile

Can you please elaborate what exactly happened with you? Were you trying to purchase some electronic stuff?

Answer is yes they do that as well if you have all the screenshots with you for the collected offer which you are talking about and things after lockdown have changed drastically so we really can’t crib about it sad

i have only one account(on my husband’s name)

and without checking anything they said that we have multiple accounts and when i questioned about this, they said that there are so many accounts with same name

muje pata hai, inse behes karna bekar hai, south india me same name se bahut saare log hote hai,
south india me kya…mere hi parivaar me 5 log hai

isliye maine prime membership is saal nai liya…

If you have collected the offer and received mail of collected offer, email Amazon cc with all collected offer mail screenshot.
Also if you see cb applied in order page, take screenshot and include that in email. With both these proofs, Amazon can’t deny the cashback.

my Suggestion is to take prime for one clean account. 1k fees but my experience has been minimum 3-4k benefits on essentials grocery pharmacy etc
I was very skeptical for torture by cc but dimers have given me 💪🏻

dd ki vajhse bb star membership bhi free me aaya hai

in both, saving around 20%, some times more than that

You’re missing the 2 biggest difference between f and a:
1) f wallet you can use only at f. a balance u can use at so many offline + online places! prime member gets better deals obviously like 50% cb at airtel, pharmeasy, etc. And if i have amazon cc you can load a balance with 5% off. So it’s super sweet deal
2) f wallet useless for utility payments! no rech dth elec gas ⛽️ etc etc. Same two principles of above pt apply here as well.

Actually after you r post I manually calculated cb since my amazon prime account (9 months so far). Savings are much higher… Rs.7,500 in my case 🥳🥳🥳

I was always non prime member. Skeptical like you. But once i took it, it is really worth it 🥂

Yes, they do manual credit of cashback if you have all screenshot as proof of eligibility. You have to fight with them on call if required.

I had better days with Amazon pre 2019 after that in 2019, their automated cashback system began trouble for me. Screenshots were needed for proof and 2020 was a disaster with terrible shipping, packaging and missing items back to back. Even with unboxing videos, they started cribbing about how I got too many refunds even for items that were cancelled and returned while on another state, during nation and local lockdowns.
I told them and pointed out the reasons but I knew that they marked my main account and are adamant.
My last orders during the flop prime day sale was all bought in mrps (just thankfully got 200 cashback without any hitch this time, still had precautionary screenshot) and the recent sale was not satisfactory. Got wrong and near expiry items.
For peace of mind, I’m back to offline stores.
