Mausam kharab udhar ka mat jao.
Visit Indian cities/towns/villages and feel rejuvenated.
There are many areas of India still unexplored. We definitely don't value our own gems and get lured away by tall buildings, big malls and what not.
I would like to plan for Dubai trip and the entire planning seems bit overwhelming to me.
Can someone point to any reference which I can follow so I can plan this out ?
I am also interested in any package if that will be hasslefree. Please suggest.
This website says the entire trip with flight included for 70k : https://flyingleader.com/app/packages?country=U...
How is this as a package ? Worth it ?
Also, what would be the best time to visit dubai ?
Thanks

i have some additional recommendations
if you are 1) cheap visa if travelling with kids 2) cheap attractions compared to klook and headout 3) abu dhabi attractions
June or July might be bad, will be super hot if I am not wrong and roaming out in day time would be tough. Do ensure it's the correct season.
Here is the itinerary I followed. All details in excel sheet here including every minor expense incurred https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ZyDONN-...
For attractions tickets, book them either from Klook or Headout. If possible check for combo tickets (multiple attraction passes clubbed) which can be cheaper. You can get Klook and Headout coupons on GrabOn.in or wethrift or coupons.ae for further discounts
Public transport isn't that well connected so you might end up booking cabs as well. Careem is your best bet but during peak office hours it's tough to get a careem ride but Uber comes to the rescue at 3x to 4x the price of Careem.
You can't go wrong with food, be it any cuisine. We didn't have even a single bad meal! So won't give you much tips here apart from suggesting to avoid Indian food and try global cuisines to explore.
Avoid stay in Bur Dubai. It feels like old India cities and won't make you feel you are in Dubai. We stayed in Aloft Al Mina hotel which was good but the next time we go, if we do, will prefer to stay at some place close to the palm.
Visas, we took help of Akbar Travels virtually and it went super smooth.
Local sims are available in Airport so easy to get one. Download Botim to communicate with family back in India seamlessly.
Forex, you can rely on bookmyforex. We took minimal cash, some forex cards from Niyo Global back then and used my credit card for most expenses.
This is our expense break-up to help you plan, this is for 2 adults and 1 toddler for a 6 nights stay. Can be different for others.
Sometimes u get good deals on packages also.. like i got for Flight+ Visa+Hotel+Sight Seeing in Just 2.25L for 4
This is from MMT.
Packages are always costly and not worth.
Book yourself, use Skyscanner, Agoda and MMT for booking.
I visited Dubai in 1st Week of Feb for 7 nights and 8 days.
2 person - 2 lacs all inclusive.
Places covered which had tickets - Museum of Future, Atlantis Water Park, Global Village, Miracle Garden, Frame, Desert Safari.
Food, 5-6 Souvenir and 6 kg Dates, some other consumable stuff and local travel all inclusive in price mentioned above.
when are you planning to go ?
I would suggest to contact a local agent and customize a package. To me dubai frame, museum of future, global village and many other things are gimmicky. Visiting in summer and going on desert safari would not be fun, however hotels should be cheaper during this time and less crowd in tourist places.
If you are young enough to enjoy theme parks / water parks, there are many good ones in dubai and abu dhabi do visit them, it will be worth your money and time. Also checkout Dubai safari park if it's your kinda thing.
Dubai mall is good place to checkout (too much walking, things are very costly there) and their aquarium is nice. Right outside dubai mall there is fountain show during evening.
You'll find good cheap branded and unbranded perfumes in meena bazaar, if you like branded things then do visit dubai outlet mall even uae's amazon is cheaper for branded items so you can order many things at your stay.
If you find a place near metro to stay then you'll be able to travel in Dubai for very cheap so consider doing that.
In dubai there are many e-bicycle stands which allow unlimited 30 minutes free rides, good for exploring. (again only if you're young enough)
If you want to eat Indian food then do visit downtown and there are many apps like noon which is like swiggy/zomato and delivers almost everything.
Make sure to get free du sim cards from airport (if such offer is still running), you'll be able to utilise it for data.
