I took a personal loan from Cred, and my EMI date is the 7th of every month.
On the 7th of August, my auto-pay from Kotak Bank was initiated, but until the evening, the amount was not deducted. Therefore, I paid my EMI through Cred. However, the next day, Kotak deducted the ECS return charge for the same.
I contacted Kotak regarding the ECS charge refund. They raised a request and assured me that it would be refunded within 3 days.
To ensure that my credit score is not impacted, whom should I contact?

Cibil score doesn't get affected by ECS return. It gets affected only when lender report to Cibil. In your case you manually paid the EMI to Cred within due date, so no reason that Cred (or it's lender partner) will report any delay to Cibil.

If EMI is paid on/before due date. You don't need to worry about cibil score it should be fine. It's ECS return charges which i believe they will not return.
