I was getting very low speeds on other devices connected with Flame 2 hotspot so here is one way which may help you if you are facing the same problem on Flame 6 or Flame 2
Step 1: First download and install mHotspot from here: http://www.mhotspot.com/dow...d/
Step 2: Connect internet in your PC/Laptop via USB tethering from your LYF handset.
Step 3: Open mHotspot select and create hotspot name and password for your virtual hotspot which you will be using in devices connecting to this network and also choose the internet source as LAN network(JIO Internet) and create a virtual hotspot.
Now you may connect any device with this virtual hotspot using username and password as we created in Step 3 above and this network will be using JIO 4G data.
You don’t need any physical router to use this trick, though your PC/Laptop should have Wifi adapter with hotspot capabilities.
This would help you to get better Wifi coverage in your home
Troubleshoot:
If mHotspot generates ICS error or your device has problem connecting to this virtual hotspot, then follow the below steps:
Step 1: Open Network and Sharing Center (Via Control Panel)
Click on the blue label of your active internet connection.
( eg. Local area connection,PPOE connection, 3G-USB Connection, etc.)
Step 2: Then a status box will appear, click properties.
Step 3: Go to sharing tab and tick the box,“Allow other users to connect through this computer’s internet connection” and select the wireless network connection 2.

mHotspot is a dangerous software. Being an expert telling this. It’s source code has hidden spying files.
Better create WiFi hotspot on your own if your laptop wireless card has capability to host a wifi network.
Steps:
1. Turn on WiFi of your desk/lap-top.
2. Open command prompt by right clicking and run it as administrator.
3. Now type netsh wlan show drivers and press enter
.
It will show driver details. Now check whether it shows Yes or No against Hosted Network Supported row.
4. If it shows Yes against Hosted Network Supported then proceed to step 5 otherwise exit. Yes means your wirless card can host network.
5. Now type netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=[Name of Hostpsot as per your choice without these bar brackets] key=[password of your choice min. 8 characters]
Ex: netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=desidime key=desidime So your hotspot will be shown as desidime when you search it.
6. Now to start hotspot type netsh wlan start hostednetwork and to stop hotspot type netsh wlan stop hostednetwork
Tip: For easy access for turning hotspot ON or OFF, open notepad type these commands separately and save files with name.bat
7. After all this, go to Network and Sharing center. Open Change adapter setting from left side menu. Now it will show your network connections. Choose your Internet adapter connection (The one which is being used for Internet on your computer). R
Right click and open properties. Under sharing tab check Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection and from the list select your WiFi adapter. It’s name will be same as the SSID you set for network in step 5
Example On.bat or Off.bat then always run by right clicking them as Administrator.
Everything mentioned above is one time process and after all this you just need to start or stop it either using command prompt or batch files (if you create and save on desktop)
Excellent tut by @Navneet
But but but
Always keeping ON laptop / pc is inconvenient
And sometimes long hour power failure may happen as well
Best solution is to Purchase wifi extender or use router as repeater.
But for those who dont want to invest much, is a good way to use Jio to the fullest.

Router as repeater or extender will result in loss of bandwidth…
Am I correct??

There is an adapter on your laptp/desktop which is interferring with hosting network that’s why you are facing issue. Like any USB modem or LAN etc. Disable them. Post ss of ur network connectiions if u can. That will help me understand.

I am using TPLink MR3020 as a wifi repeater. Working fine with good strength in 1400 sq ft area. connects 4 mobiles, 2 tablets, 2 kindle, 1 android tv box.
Can you give me screenshot of the configuration. I am not able to get internet access in my Tplink WR720N. It connects to lyf hotspot but doesnt have internet access.
MR3020 can be used as normal router as well as Access Point with a harware switch to select the mode. Repeater option comes in Setup screen in AP mode.

TP Link MR3420
No need for any software if you are using pc as an WIFI-Extender
Latest windows 10 update (Build 14393 – version 1607) includes native hotspot functionality (For Windows Insiders, its been available for few months)
You can share both ethernet and wifi
Will jio sim work on tablets? The jio apps are not available for tabs

It will work without any issue (unlocked sim ~ Samsung sim )
For jio apps, just extract apks from mobile (use ES Explorer) and install on tablets manually
Requirement: I want to extend range of lyf phone hotspot..
Already have:
1) Asus RTn13u on DD WRT (Configured as Repeater: Getting half bandwidth)
2) TP-Link TD-W8968 (Not able to configure as Repeater)
Planning to buy:
1) Xiaomi wifi range extender OR
2) TP-LINK TL-MR3020
Query:
1) Which one should I buy?
2) Will I get half bandwidth if I connect through above devices?
