Hello Dimers,

One of my family members has tested +ve.
He/She is undergoing home treatment.

I wanted to know from the fellow Dimers who has tested +ve earlier / had family member tested +ve, the day to day symptoms till recovery. This will vary vastly from individual to individual.

The day to day symptoms will help me and others understand if we are recovering or need any additional assistant from any doctors.

Experience varies from case to case.
In general – mild cases – home quarantine is fine

I will try to cover from my family exp
Symptoms
Dry cough
Headache
Back pain – new in 2nd wave
Heavy breathing
Loss of taste and smell
Temperature

My recommendations
Keep an eye on SPO2 and temperature
Spo2 – anything below 95 rush to doctor immediately
Be ready with list of hospitals, availability of beds,ambulance and ventilator information as it takes very little time to turn mild case into critical cases.

Be in touch with your doctor and update your symptoms regularly

Don’t stress
This too shall pass
