Get Atomberg Efficio or Renesa BLDC fans. Pros :

1. Energy saving fans.

2. Good after sales service (on-site).

3. Less heat production (useful to run alongwith AC, for power saving).

4. Comes with remote. No going back to old fans, once got used to remote.

Initial expense might seem a little high as compared to normal fans, but it will be easily covered by future savings.

Fans are not only fans, fans are mostly for keeping you cool below your fans. stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye laughing

Been using bldc motor SUPERFAN under Tata Power Programme where I got a basic brown fan for around 2k + self installation & 5 years warranty. They also assure savings of upto 65% in comparison with other traditional ones. Been 3-4 years already no issues yet. I believe brands like Atomberg etc are much more reliable.

Thanks bro.

The main concern is reliability as a lot of people have mentioned about sound issues and javing to use fan in single mode as it doesn't work in other modes after a while. Normal ceiling fans are very reliable and hence last atleast 5 years without requiring any maintenance. I am evaluating if it is really worth the risk of going with BLDC fans

There is sound of air but only at speed 4 or 5 which is maximum, and that too is normal due to high speed. All fans would make that I think. In fact my Kitchen has Crompton which makes noise even at a lower pace and isn't good at air delivery when compared to SUPERFAN. Also after the first one, I bought two more due to the good quality and features like the timer, remote controls etc as the regulator was always an issue, which is non existent now.

BLDC fans are good but it has some big cons like need to have remote to control the speed and managing remote is big time headache. you have manage remote batteries also

I had bought 5 atomberg fans last year during sale in september. No complaints till now.

Yesterday one fan stopped working. Registered a complaint to atomberg customer support and technician came and fixed the problem in 2 hours. Best service till date.

Location: Kolkata

You can control the speed of atomberg fans using the switch as well. No need of remote if u dont want.

Obviously. Even if not using on Solar/Inverter, you are going to pay the electricity bill, right? Less bill + Less heat + Remote control, these are going to be the positives for everyone. Only in the case where the fan will be used very very sparingly, then one can make the decision accordingly.

Just flip the switch by the amount of speed of the fan u want. 3 times flip for speed 3.
