Respected dimers! If the payer's (who uses UPI) priority is simple, rewarding and convenient payment, they will mostly use Gpay, Phonepe, Paytm or BHIM. 90% of people who use scan and pay, are using the above three apps. But we dimers who want to explore, will use some other apps. May I know
1. Which UPI app u guys use or will recommend the most
2. Which is the fastest upi app according to u in terms of money transfer speed and app lightweightness?
3. Which app captures the QR quickly?
I don't bother about cashbacks just need a fast money transfer experience. Have used Paytm for long but now it has become laggy.
Tried Apay, Gpay, Phonepe, Cred, Slice, Mobikwik, Airtel,Fi etc. Only found phonepe to be fast. I know the payment speed entirely depends on internet speed and device capabilities but kindly wanna know the above questions. Thanks for your inputs!
For me phonepe is the fastest and easiest way to pay, but I prefer app which the merchant is using for taking payments, if they have paytm qr I pay through paytm and if they have phonepe qr I use phonepe coz it shows whether payment through rupay cc will be accepted or not on respective apps. If merchant is using any other qr I use phonepe

for me the fastest are
1. Cred - fast and safe
it has a feature, if due to network conditions , if you try pay again the same amount in 5 minutes window to the same vendor it alerts you.
2. Payzapp - fast and clutter free
Yep payzapp is surprisingly fast n one can feel it.. second one is cred for me n third is evergreen paytm as i notice least downtime of their services... especially in night..
Paytm is the trashiest in all ways & I'd personally pledge all my wealth for that company to die tomorrow.
PhonePe a little similar but in the gray area with too much clutter & no security.
Found GPay to be the most seamless for everything & clean.

Gpay! QR code recognition is super fast.
Tap and hold on gpay icon, select and drag the first option(scan qr code) onto your home screen. By this way no need to open the app every time for scanning.
Payment speeds also depends on bank server upi apps are using. I think best solution is to use upi lite btw I found bhim and phopepe to be the fastest.
But upi lite is xd 🤛
Cred takes too much of your data.
Paytm is very cluttery.
Phonpe ui is simple and I find useful.
Gpay blocked my account in January 2020. Not used after that.
Bajaj app comes 1st.

Fastest for me is samsung pay, i dont even need to unlock the phone. From locked screen i swipe up, unlocked through face, 1 click for scanner, enter amount, enter pin, 2 second for txn. If paytm wallet used, no need to enter pin, just fingerprint.

Used 3 so far, Gpay, Amazon and BHIM. Most convenient and fast for me is GPay, never had a failed transaction and it isn't that heavy of an app, especially compared to Amazon upi which is the worst I've ever used, just slow,and even at times with stuck txn. BHIM is somewhere in middle. I don't care for rewards, and have no CC, so never used Cred. And never did use or will ever use paytm or phonepe so can't comment on them.
I just wish I didn't have to enter the pin twice on gpay (once when opening the app and then right before final payment).

Fastest from my experience is CRED and it has a lot of transparency and detailed status display in case the transaction gets delayed, stuck or fails. They have built something useful to reduce the frustration of failed transactions.
