Hi,
Want to stay at airport lounge and get refreshed since our flight lands early.
I Have –
Simply click visa
Amazon pay ICICI Visa
IDFC one card visa
Bob easy MasterCard
IndusInd platinum aura edge visa
Yes Bank rewards plus rupay
Axis Flipkart MasterCard
Is it possible to stay for a couple of hours in any lounge using this cards for free?
Can I Bring my spouse along?

please check ur cards website for whether lounge access is available and if yes which are the current list of lounges . Also a lot of debit card like idfc axis and maybe others provide lounge access .
Anyways the exact list is provided on the banks website . I would not recommend standing in the lounge line and giving ur various cards to try .
Also there is no problem if u have two valid cards then u can take ur spouse as well .
To be honest domestic lounges are hyped as such just you get ur belly filled before ur flight and can lose urself up .
Also many of the tier 2 tier 3 lounges are even more pathetic . I had a bad experience on my last visit to chandigarh airport lounge ( struggle to find a seat + limited food options that too had to place on order ) and if ur on a first time experience my personal recommendation will be either go in a big city airport lounge or go only if the lounge seems empty since it can have a lasting impact on how u perceive lounges .

This is never a good strategy especially if u are really unsure about if u have sufficient cards or pending lounge accesses .
Say for eg . this guy has only one access out of all his cards for that particular lounge . So now the receptionist will promptly ask u for the charges of over 1k for the spouse entry . At this point he has no option but to pay for their family members entry. This is fine if he doesnt mind spending out of pocket for his family happiness but theres nothing worth 1k to pay for a lounge in my opinion .

Before boarding flight you can use.
After you enter airport and after security check, you can go to lounge. You need to show boarding pass with card to enter lounge.
It can be for starting flight and connecting flight

1 unique card with lounge access per day can give you free food and softdrinks in any airport lounge (domestic/international per their tnc)
You can accompany your spouse as well provided you have another card with lounge access.
PS – You can enter any lounge 3.5 hours prior to your flight timing (New protocol in after March’20 i guess). 3 hours is common but they do give some buffer if requested 
Guys those commenting lounges allowing spouse/anyone on a different card (say a card in the name of different person) did you personally experience in the recent times?
Back in 2017ish time frame, I checked with the person at a lounge desk if they will allow, they straight denied. They did also mentioned they will usually cross verify the name on boarding pass and the card. I used a card(the one that comes in pre-activated kit from bank) without name on it for my wife, and later got her a separate card.
i need arrival lounge ..I will land at Delhi from Mumbai…so Delhi have arrival lounge? So should I ask frm bank to get arrival lounge or just any priority pass..
Yes Delhi has an arrival lounge. But most cards are not accepted. PP should work I guess.

Alcohol is free on Premium credit/debit cards or the lounge has a list of drinks available for the premium card holders.
Also, if you use PP or DP in domestic lounges, all alcohol is free though PP is now chargeable in domestic lounges for some cards.
Amex platinum/centurion card lounges don’t charge at all for alcoholic drinks.

1. Priority Pass is now chargeable across all Indian airports. So if you have international lounge access, the real benefit is only in the lounges outside of India.
2. As far as domestic airport lounge access is concerned, your spouse/additional member will or will not be allowed at the discretion of the receptionist (incase they don’t have a matching name). Sometimes they will check all details patiently and will match the name etc. And other times they will just swipe in the POS machine without looking at the name or boarding pass.
I used the following trick/method pre covid since my card had only 1 access per quarter and i wanted to use both times for my round trip journey.Most Indian family members have their father’s name within their full name on ticket.
1. Use the card of your father/surname matching person for the first leg of journey. If they do end up matching exact name, they will say no to you. But in my experience across Hyd, chennai, BLR airport, they just saw my(1/2)
…surname, father’s name (which was there in my full name) and let me enter without any hassle. Most of the times this trick should work.
If it doesn’t, then just use your card and hope that in the return leg the above trick would work. In my case it has always worked in the past.
Now i don’t need such tricks because I have many LTF CCs but I hope this is helpful for anyone who’s new to this lounge thing.
And yes like some people pointed out most T2/T3 cities lounge either don’t exist or are outrightly just bad.
So the real benefit is only in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, BLR, Chennai, Hyderabad etc
The first three cities have really really good food (atleast pre COVID this was the case)

Axis FK has complimentary lounge access.
They generally allow people whose name matches with the card. For spouse, you have to pay extra or use another card with lounge access which is in her name. Some Debit cards too have lounge access.
