Which bank currently offering best interest rates?
As well few stocks which can be bought at this time for longer term. I.e 5 to 10 yrs

With the increase in such topics. I am sure govt. needs to increase spending by some offers.
People after do not want to spend. If they have extra money they are parking it at back just to be safe.

Employment and spending needs to be worked upon

Thanks & even I think a subsection would be great.
Just for sharing I personally opted for HDFC RELIANCE ITC TCS INFOSYS already for longer term. Am creating a list of under 500rs category under 200rs category as well penny like suzlon urza global idea Voda, trident, good multibagger.

One can invest in Treasury Bills and Govt Bonds using Zerodha. State govt bonds also available soon

Never tried Zerodha . Is it good ?
Also there was no option to buy G sec online few years back maybe they changed some rule

At present 7% is hard to get 6% is there on some savings account

If you have older parents above 60 you can transfer your money (tax free for your parents) and get them Senior citizen savings scheme

30 lacks can be deposited (15+15) if your both mom and dad are above 60

if u have HDFC or ICICI near by try to visit there and ask about this RBI Bonds investment option

please note – there is lock in period of 7 years but for sr citizens after some years they can pre mature withdraw

rate of interest will keep changing / amount of interest paid half yearly or on maturity
