2 weeks ago chennai to Delhi flights were available at 2500. Now all the prices are hiked to 5300. What happened? There is no news on this

Same, 4k flights hiked to 4700 and then 5400 even for December. Seems demand is increasing.
Some low priced routes have more than doubled. From 2100 to 5200.
