Similar thing I noticed while making my parents flight booking

Air India Amsterdam to Delhi direct flight at 50,944/-

Amsterdam to Hyd (with layover at Delhi using same flight above) at 35,000/-

Yeah it's true. Connecting flights are often cheaper and people abroad do leg skipping i.e skip del hyd in this case to get off at Delhi for cheap price.

However in India it's quite risky to do it and some people have even been jailed. Even abroad do it after proper research.

This is partially due to Spicejet as well. They are cancelling almost all flights. I had tickets from darbhanga to bangalore for 3rd June on the only direct flight and they cancelled it yesterday. All flights on the route are cancelled till 9th June. Now the fare for direct flights from patna to bangalore have shot up to 23k and above. With no increase in income for salaried, the expenses have incresed multiple folds and continure to do so. Businesses can still hike their rates and maintain same profits to some extent, but what about our savings? Can we hike our salaries to maintain the same level of disposable income? This is a serious cluster f#@k.
