Flipkart mobile exchange, now pickup after 7 days

Earlier fk used to reject exchange (even due to single scratch) on the spot, due to which delivery of the product also got cancelled.
Now they have come with this new thing, "pickup after 7 days".
Didn't get much details on this, what do u think , will exchange situation be better now or have no impact at all?

Flipkart ek kadam aagey hai. Pehle full amount pay karna hai new mobile ka. Old mobile pick hone ke baad uski exchange value credit hogi.

Ohh... I bought mobile using exchange. 10000 I paid from friends credit card, kyunki us se mujhe waapas lene the, and rest amount I paid in cash to delivery guy when exchange got rejected

For Pickup after 7 days scheme, they are not giving instant discount. Once the order is placed you get the option to choose for either getting payment via IMPS or in Flipkart Gift Card. These payment get processed after 24 hours of pickup of mobile. All the checks are same as usual. Normal scratch is also considered as screen damage.

This has been there atleast for 3-4 months. My brother opted for this a while ago. Good thing is that you don't loose on bank offers as the discount is not exchange applied upfront as the bank offers generally have a MOV of 10k or so.
And who are bickering about it, this is optional guys.

There are two options -
Usual deliver new product and exchange old product
Or
Get new Product and then exchange old product after 7 days
Having said that, knowing the past experience with Flipkart exchange I will recommend using the first option if you don't find a good exchange value of your old phone on Amazon.

I faced loss due to this...i ordered phone and opted for exchange after 7 days .. During these 7 days my phone fell and screen got damaged... So had to bear the loss of exchange amount due to Damaged screen...
