Hi,
Recently something has changed in Flipkart especially for Mobiles and some electronics item. Now it says that replacement is seller assisted iff damaged/missing item or wrong product delivered. I ordered these.
I tried to replace the faulty product received and now they are saying to go to service center. Moreover, there is no Realme service center in my town.
I remember that no such policy existed last month when I ordered this product. Any idea when this policy got updated like this?
I feel that as a customer our right of getting replacement is being snatched from us quietly (initially they took away "Return" right the same way).

Oh yeah, may be I was little out of the sale party this year😅. This was my first electronics order from Flipkart this bbd.
I remembered this policy for expensive mobiles but little shocked that they have implemented same to cheap Electronics products too.
Any idea/trick to return such products in this case as I am stuck now?
Nevermind, thanks for the info.
I ordered a women's dress and received totally different dresses which was torn and damaged. I raised return and refund request 2times. Both time return got cancelled. On 1st attempt return delivery person didn't even called neither showed up and it was marked as return cancelled. 2nd attempt delivery person came checked to the product and said product mismatch and cancelled return.
Now what can I do? seller sent different dresses and I am raising return request for the same reason and the nonsense delivery person rejecting the request.
Complained to Cc on call, they opened a pickup request 3rd time let's see and hope I do not get the same idiot delivery person knocking on my doorstep tomorrow again.
Is it new type of scam from FK?
We should stop use Flipkart.. jyda nashe me rhta hai FK aaj kl
That's why i want to return them but all my shots at Flipkart are failing😣
Getting a free return/replacement had never been our right. Its the policy opted by online marketplaces to lure customers into preferring them over other online & offline partners. You can still get replacement via service center but only in the cases of DOA and if their technicians are unable to fix this issue
RealMe claims they got "Free pickup & drop repair" service country-wide for their mobile phones. Contact their twitter/chat support or via email/phone and convince them to arrange a pickup of your faulty device (Quote the FK's return policy and your devicee age*)

PS: They will only replace if the tws turn out to be defective based on their regular service checks
How can I check if some product is suited for me/my needs without checking the product out even though on paper, both have same specs?
In offline scenario, we can do it and can decide to purchase after all our criterias are met.
However, in case of online, if these rights are missing, just based on someone else review, how can I judge if this is the right product unless I try it out.
Looks like time to get away from online world and back to basics with offline retail.😅
Thanks for your advice regarding replacement of the product. I will try it out too.
