Scam Alert lost 540rs fake Website
Today, I was booking number plate for my car and casually searched for bookmyhsrp website and clicked on the website that first showed but I failed to notice that it was fake appearing identical to the legitimate site . After payment of 540rs when i didn't get any order id or receipt afterward, i realized that I've been scammed 🥲

Kuch nahi hoga..I lost 6L in the past and last time I checked site is still alive...
One advice, before paying always check the site security cert, don't trust "lets encrypt" certificate authority, these are free cert while a good site will use paid cert like Google, amazon , digicert, verisign etc
If paid using upi you can raise a request using npci site , similarly if paid using dc/cc report complaint to bank they might help

A couple of days ago, I found a similar scenario when systumm (a brand by elvish,a youtuber) lost in crores due to an identical website of his brand.
These days , scams are getting common, scamsters are finding new new things , very smart and sad at the same time.

Then you should immediately email to phonepe customer care with complete details of the fraud and seek name and contact details of the merchant for lodging FIR. Some more details may be available in your bank debit statement

I dont know how this websites dont get block after so many cyber complaint... I see so many websites still alive who are doing fraud since ages... It feels like govt. deliberately dont want to block this kind of sites

Lodge a cyber fraud complain to get this site down at least

Report the fraud to Indusind bank and payu as the QR code belongs to Indusind and Payu
