What is the difference between the two?
The difference is Validity Recharges are for SIM Validity like Incoming/Outgoing!
The Plan Voucher Recharges are Like Unlimited Data+Calling+SMS Benefits!
Good to see even Bsnl getting involved in the filthy business. At the moment though I am beyond angry on Voda and Airtel and for barring outgoing Sms. Had a heated argument yesterday with some Voda appellate who kept repeating like a cuckoo clock it’s their process to not offer outgoing Sms below 128 plan. I cannot even send the PORT message, mobile banking apps won’t pass verification, I thought it was only SMS to individuals which was restricted! Wish I knew how to properly file a PIL!
I couldn’t agree more! I am also going through the same $#it.I am planning to port from Vi to BSNL.
Ported to BSNL today (not yet activated). I am getting 2 month validity now, after if I want to continue with PremiumPerSec_106, should I recharge before expiry or last day or after expiry.
One of my friend was saying I cannot recharge BSNL online after expiry.
You can recharge anytime you want(before, on expiry day or after). I normally recharge(₹365/397) do after expiry from Amazon coz I don’t want to lose that one day if we do on/before expiry.
I think this would be same for your denomination amount as well.
BSNL is most affordable for 2nd sim since the 365 plan. Now marginally more expensive, but you can’t beat 1Rs/Day to park a number.
Besides, all over India BSNL has excellent connectivity whenever I was on holidays in remote areas
I am thinking about porting to BSNL from Vi.

Zaroor Zaroor kyu nahi you will get a never before experience please port to BSNL desh ka sarkari operator hai don’t hesitate jaise sarkaar badhiya chal rahi waise hi BSNL bhi 
Yes I will be porting out to BSNL as well. But for that I need to send the PORT message at first place. And what do we need for that? Well recharging with 128 rupees just for sending that one message. All these despite being on a paid plan nonetheless. It’s like salary being credited but your employer limiting/ enforcing how you can spend it. Whorehouse? Yes. Food? No. Something like that.
IT IS BEYOND RIDICULOUS!
Btw i cant find bsnl stores to port my airtel.. they dont have stores like airtel jio etc?..how to port to jio without finding them near me

For Jio you can arrange agent to come (if pincode is supported by them)
Also, if 10digi has services in your area, you can get it with them too..
bsnl is bought off by ambani. looks like he will run bsnl for poor peeps and jio for rich people.
So what will be the frc for bsnl after porting.i am thinking to port my both chortel sims to bsnl. Circle- Telangana btw

I ported my and my mother’s main numbers to BSNL almost 2 years back when Chortel and Yedafone started new tricks.
I have Jio for data in both phones. BSNL has great network for calls, SMS.
Also it is only network with pricing to features like we used to have in older times.
Initially I did 365 recharge. But since last 1 year I am doing 94, 106 with cashbacks on amazon of 20 to 35.
Effectively less than ₹ 1 per day.
Also sometimes I use BSNL 3G and speed is not too bad for basic things.
